Old Datça, the only quarter of Datça dating back to ancient times, is Datça with its stone houses and streets with bougainvillea. one of the most beautiful places in. Old Datça, with its cute cafes, souvenir shops and boutique hotels, looks like a small Alaçatı, but it is much more peaceful.. Cars are left in the parking lot at the entrance of Old Datça to visit the area that is closed to traffic, then you continue on foot.. Although some houses are almost in ruins, some of them have been undergoing restoration work for a while, and some are really sparkling.. Old Datça is getting more and more beautiful every day.
The importance of Old Datça comes from Can Yücel a little bit. After all, Datça is equal to Can Yücel.. Here you can see Can Yücel’s house and Orhan Kahvesi, where he often went.

#3 Ancient City of Knidos:
Knidos, one of the most important centers of antiquity ancient city, a port city established on the Tekir Cape, where the Mediterranean and the Aegean meet, opening to the Mediterranean on one side and the Aegean on the other.. Knidos, which was an important trade point in ancient times, has two commercial and military ports planned according to its location.. While it was an island consisting of a strait connecting these two ports, it was later turned into a peninsula by making a land connection.. Knidos, a city founded by the Dorians. There was actually a nude statue of Aphrodite in the temple they built in honor of Aphrodite, whom they considered to be the chief goddess.. At the same time, boat tours departing from Datça also stop here.. You can swim in the harbor where these boats are located; but since there is a bay for them to swim in Datça, it may not be their turn here..
Stopping the day in Knidos is also a Datça classic. If you can make up your schedule, you can come here around 5 pm and see the city and then set the sun on the cliffs.. The ancient city is open to visitors between 8.00-19.00 in summer. There is also a cafe in it that serves during the summer months, but the prices are not very reasonable.
#4 Kızlan Village and Kızlan Mills:
One of the places you can visit in Datça de Kizlan village. Located on a plain covered with almond and olive trees, Kızlan village is the most windy spot in the region.. You can see the famous windmills of Datça here, and if you are interested in nature sports, you can trek around Kızlan.. Kızlan village is not touristic and popular like Bursa’s villages; however, it is also at the crossing point of beaches such as Gebekum and Kızlanaltı, which are the addresses of surf lovers in Datça.
DATCA BAY AND BEACHES
#5 Hayıtbuku Beach:
Our beach tour in Datça started with Hayıtbükü, a village in Mesudiye. With its shallow sea and windless environment, Hayıtbükü is a beach preferred primarily by families with children.. You can rent sun loungers and umbrellas from businesses in the bay, which is surrounded by many pensions and apartments.. Prices vary between 20-30 TL. If you come to Hayıtbükü beach by car, the parking lot is 10 TL.
#6 Gabaklar Bay, Kizilbuk:
Kizilbuk is located a little to the left of Hayitbuku; however, this place started to be called Gabaklar Bay because of the Gabaklar Pension located in the bay.. Gabaklar has become one of our favorite coves in Datça with its untouched nature and wide beach, as well as beach facilities.. Umbrellas and sun loungers can be rented from the business inside; There is also the public beach side, which is free if you come prepared, and wooden tables in the wooded section come to the rescue of those who want shade.
#7 Ovabuku Beach:
After Gabaklar Bay direction Ovabuku! Ovabükü, which is a very long, sandy beach, is generally preferred by families with children, such as Hayıtbükü.. Ovabükü is a bit like a summer cottage area, there are sites, hostels and apartments around it.. The sandy part of the beach is very wide and feels like it never gets full; For the same reason, it has a calm environment because it is not very crowded.. You can leave the cars in the side streets around the beach.. There are also many alternatives for eating and drinking.
#8 Kurubük:
It’s time to tell about Kurubük, our favorite bay in Datça! On the way from Ovabükü to Palamutbükü, the name of this bay we saw on the road and stopped the car is Kurubük.. On the way, the color and bottom looked so beautiful that we would not be comfortable if we did not swim here.. After the photo process was completed, we proceeded towards the entrance, pulled the car to the right, and cooled off for a run and continued to wander around the bay.. Bring your sea shoes and towel with you to swim in Kurubuk, which has no facilities.. no need for anything else. We are talking about a place where you can stay calm even during the holidays, do not return without seeing Kurubuk.
#9 Palamutbükü:
With its clear coast and long beach, Palamutbükü is one of Datça’s favorite spots. Palamutbükü, where you will arrive at the end of a very winding road, is perhaps the most developed and most touristic among Datça bays.. It is one of the best activities to go to Palamutbükü, which has many apartments, pensions and cafes around, and include a lunch break here at noon.. But be warned; The beach is not very wide and it is not very pleasant as long as the businesses put the sunbeds at the bottom.. We think Palamutbuku is very beautiful in low season.. In crowded times, you can sit at the tables of the businesses on the road for food and drink, if you want a beach, you can go to the beach of Mavi Beyaz Hotel.. Entrance to Mavi Beyaz’s beach is 40 TL per person.
#10 Gerence Beach, Small Aquarium:
One of the coves we came across on our way from Palamutbuku to the center was the Little Aquarium.. This beach, which does not have a facility like Kurubuk, is one of our other favorites.. Pull the car over, go down the path and take a cool break. If you have umbrellas, sun loungers, or even picnic equipment with you, you can even linger here.
#11 Akçabük:
Akçabük is one of Datça’s unmanaged, over-the-road bays.. This place has a wider beach than the previous unoperated bays.. If you don’t have an umbrella, you can sit in the wooded area near the road.. What shall we lie; The beach without a facility is especially nice in the summer season..
# 12 Kargı Bay:
Kargı Bay is our favorite organized beach in Datça. The road is very winding, but for some reason it does not tire at all; maybe because it has a magnificent view! If you come to Kargı Bay especially early in the morning, we are sure that you will enjoy it a lot.. There are a number of businesses starting from the parking lot at the entrance of the beach, you can rent umbrellas and sun loungers from here for an average of 20 TL per person.. We preferred to sit on the private beach of Kargilos Hotel in Kargı Bay to get away from the holiday crowd.. Kargilos has a quieter environment than it is a little further on; but the sunbed fee is 30 TL per person. The water of Kargı Bay is incredibly clear and clean; However, since the bottom is pebbly, you should definitely bring sea shoes with you when you come here.. Finally, there is a small section of public beach under the wooded area beyond the beach; but it is impossible to find a place here during the holidays.

#13 Black Pearl Dark:
Karaincir is another bay preferred by families in Datça with its shallow sea and sheltered structure.. When we say shallow for the sea, we mean it. It really does not go deeper; the water is always at waist level. There are sites and hostels around here too; There is also a facility to rent umbrellas and sun loungers on the beach.. If you don’t want to pay, you can throw your towel on the right and hang out for free.. Since the bottom of the sea is sandy, we think you should come here early in the morning. /p>
#14 Datça Boat Trip:
To the bays of Datça You can reach it by car or you can go on boat tours.. Datça boat tours departing from the sandy beach are divided into two as short tour and long tour.. There are also private boat tour alternatives for those who do not want to join group boat tours.. Datça boat tours average 80 TL per person, including meals.
DATÇA FOOD AND DRINK RECOMMENDATIONS
What to Eat in Datça
We wouldn’t be comfortable if we didn’t stop by the Blue Pide on the way to Datça! Mavi Pide’s pita with roasted eggplant and herbs is especially popular.. We paid 50 TL for 2 pita breads and 2 soft drinks at the restaurant by the river.
You can’t miss a coffee break at Orhan’s Yeri while walking around the streets of Old Datça.. Orhan’s Place; under the mulberry trees, the place where Can Yücel used to visit the most. Since it has a slightly village coffee atmosphere, it has a very friendly atmosphere, we loved it.
The Kumluk beach, ahead of Datça Kumluk beach, is famous for its fish restaurants, and it feels a bit like Gümüşlük.. The most popular restaurants here are Halil’s Yeri, Maradona and Kekik.. They all have the same concept.. Book before you go, as the most preferred places are here. We found a place in Kekik and tried it, we recommend it as a seaside place.. 4 appetizers, 1 salad and 20 raki; 190 TL.
The day we went to Palamutbükü, we went to Kardelen for lunch and entered the sea from here.. Calamari was not good but stuffed with house potatoes, zucchini with almonds and zucchini blossoms was very good. We paid 110 TL for all the meals and drinks we ordered.
Stop by Payam for a sweet coffee break in Palamutbuku. Their fresh tarts and cookies are very delicious, they also have cold coffees.. The bill came to 59 TL for a tart, a cake, two coffees and a macaroon.
Another highly recommended place in the center of Datça, the artisan restaurant famous for its traditional dishes Zecharias Table. Although it has been said that it has spoiled recently, we found it quite delicious.. Chard borani, triple herb roast, and stuffed zucchini blossoms are our favorites here. We simply loved Zekeriya Sofrası, for which we paid 58 TL for 5 plates of food and drinks!
If you want to take a coffee or a beer break while touring the Datça beach, Roll Coffee Scroll to House. Both a coffee shop and a pub, the beer menu is very extensive and very lively in the evenings.
Another favorite in the center of Datça Fevzi’s Yeri. This is a truly indescribable place to live; It doesn’t have a menu, doesn’t serve yoghurt appetizers, and what comes to the table is never a cliché.. You are asked about the flavors you like and dislike, the table is set accordingly, and they keep coming until you say ‘ok’.. Greek music accompanies the meal.. We paid 190 TL for a plate of herbs, olives with walnuts, bitter almond paste, rhubarb, lantern roasting and 20 raki at Fevzi’nin Yeri.
