Where to Stay in Seychelles

Seychelles is a honeymoon destination, we can see that most of the visitors are married couples, but it is no longer just a honeymoon destination.. Like Bali and Phuket, Seychelles has started to become quite touristic and therefore we can say that the number of alternatives that are both affordable and will satisfy you is high. The number of apartments / hostels with kitchens is also very high.. We stayed in these types of houses during our entire holiday and it made us feel very comfortable that we could eat whatever we wanted.. If you ask if this type of house is safe, I can say that it may vary according to your budget.. Because there is no security in front of every hostel or some of them are in very side streets, not even a car passes in front of them.. You will see that when you go to the island, life ends after 20:00 at the latest, but don’t worry, the day starts very early.. At around 06:00, everyone is on the street.

It took about 2 days for us to choose the hotels / hostels, the details of which I will tell you below.. We examined it in great detail, such as where and what is around.. We can say that there is Google Maps on this subject.. Made us feel like we left without going there. We will rent a car anyway, don’t say it like we want. It is useful to choose the locations where you can go on foot.. Sometimes you can even get lazy to go out by car.

Where to Stay in Praslin?

First of all, you need to decide on the region.. For this, I think your most important criterion should be the wave condition of the sea.. Because there can be such a wave across all the islands of Seychelles that even sticking your feet can be dangerous, let alone swimming.. What is important for us after the wave condition criterion is is there a market around, is it on the main street, how are the reviews of the hotel, is it clean and one of the last but critical questions is does it have a balcony? Think about it this way, if you don’t stay in a place like a hotel after 20.00, you will have to return home and instead of being stuck in your room, you can listen to a nice summer song from Spotify and drink your tea and coffee on the balcony, like us.

We are blindfolded to you L’ We recommend HIRONDELLE. Located in the Côte d’Or region, this aparthotel features its own kitchen and balcony. Thank you for the kitchen, and they are so helpful that they do whatever you ask right away, they even helped us make a reservation.. One of the best parts was that there was only a road between the beach and the beach.. We slept with the sound of waves at night and woke up with the sound of waves during the day.. There is also a bus stop 20 meters away.. If you are not going to rent a car, this is also a very important criterion.

Another advantage of the Côte d’Or region is that it is easy to reach every part of the island.. You can reach anywhere you want in a short time, both by rental car and by bus.. This is the most striking place, but everything in Seychelles is expensive.. Overnight accommodation for 2 people around 150 €. But it’s beautiful enough to want to grow old there..

We are a honeymoon couple and if you say it’s incredibly good in our budget, we directly recommend Constance Lemuria Resort for you. Located on Anse Georgette beach and Constance makes its difference. Current price per person is 4.700 TL.

Where to Stay in La Digue?

As we have explained in our other Seychelles articles, La Digue is a small island, there is no motor vehicle access and therefore it is on the main road. and we suggest you stay towards the center if possible. There were restaurants around the place where we were staying and we could walk to and from where we wanted very quickly.. We stayed at La Kaz Safran. You will be comfortable if you stay here in large front-facing rooms.. 2 persons per night 125 €. It also includes breakfast.. It’s a small apartment anyway, there is a kitchen on the floor where the rooms are.. The owner personally comes in the morning and prepares breakfasts such as toast and omelette with freshly squeezed orange juice.. Eating eggs is also beneficial, you need energy to ride a bike.

There are self-catering houses or accommodation-only places in La Digue island, but it is a good idea to choose this area because of its proximity to the center.. Because it can be difficult to ride a bike in a deserted environment and in the dark.. Let me remind you that there are no lamps to illuminate the streets..

Where to Stay in Mahe?

Mahe is divided into 2 for both sea and cultural trips.. If you are going to do a cultural trip, we recommend you stay in Victoria. For this, we recommend you Hilltop Boutique Hotel’. As the name suggests, we recommend that you do not use public transport with your suitcases when you go to this hotel, which is located on a very hill.. However, he sees Mahe from above, his staff are very helpful; imagine he sent us off to our car, he didn’t spill any water. The hotel and its rooms are very clean. You can reach the center of Victora in 10 minutes by walking.. Also very close to Beau Vallon Beach. You can also go to this beautiful bay by bus.. Therefore, if we go again, we will stay at this hotel again.

Even if you say that the sea is important to me and you want to swim every day, choose Beau Vallon Beach or Port Launay.. There are both star hotels and apart-hotels in both regions.. According to your budget, you can stay at prices starting from 150 € per night.. If you say which is better – although it is relative – Port Launay beach impressed me a lot.. It had both misty and misty misty mountains and an incredibly colorful underwater.. I’m attaching his photos below.. For details, you can take a look at our Seychelles Beaches article.

We wish you a nice and peaceful holiday.. Seychelles will be very good for you, we are sure..
