Iskender kebab we love. Well, do we know where to eat the best Alexander in Bursa, where he was born in the 1860s?
We made three trips to Bursa at different times. We had the opportunity to experience three different famous Iskender kebab restaurants.

When we said Where to eat Iskender in Bursa? in our second Bursa sortie, this time our choice The inventor of Iskender kebab was KEBAPCI İSKENDER with the red emblem, which was continued by ISKENDER EFENDİ’s grandson YAVUZ İSKENDEROĞLU and his children. The kebab we ate here was also delicious, but we couldn’t reach Nirvana or anything like that, and we couldn’t get used to its gloomy atmosphere.
Then, when we were thinking about where to eat İskender kebab this time on our last visit. We met with KEBAPÇI İSKENDER, a tiny blue shop on Atatürk Street in the center of Bursa, which is also maintained by the son of the father of the name, İskender Efendi, CEVAT İSKENDEROĞLU and his children.. More precisely, while we thought we were meeting, we encountered a long queue in front of the door of the place.

After a 20-minute wait, we finally got Bursa’s best Alexander. We were smitten with the taste of Alexander, made from lambs fed with herbs in the Uludag highlands, and the aura of the place that draws us in.
