We did the shopping at Aldi, a large chain store in Germany with a low-medium price scale.. You can think of its equivalent in Turkey as Bim and A101.. Since the food standards are high in Germany and the food inspections are high, Aldi’s products are of high quality.
For a family of 2, they can be bought from the market for 50 Euros in Germany for 1 week. – We created it over 10 days of kitchen needs. When shopping for 50 Euros in Germany, I have divided what we buy into categories below to make it easier to understand.

- Fat cheese 4.76 Euros per kilo (we bought 250 grams = 1.19 €) )
- Fresh cheddar cheese is 5.53 Euros (we 450 gr = 2.49 € )
- Black olives are 11.75 Euros per kilo (we 600 gr = 7.05 €)
- 1 liter semi-skimmed milk 0.71 Euro (we 1 piece = 0.71 €)
- 500 g full-fat yogurt 0.55 Euro (we 1 piece = 0.55 Euro) )
- Eggs of 10 € 1.69 (we have 1 piece of 10 = € 1.69)
- Glass of tea bags of 100 € 3.99 (we use 1 piece of tea) = 3.99 €)

- Ked meat in Germany is 7.99 euros per kilo (we are 1.08 kg = 8.61 €)

We bought the fruits and vegetables listed above for 10,68 Euros out of 50 Euros.
We bought bread, tea, milk and breakfast products for 19.06 Euros when we did grocery shopping in Germany. There is a different type of bread in our shopping, but for the white bread we know, I would like to specify the price of bread in Germany 49 cents as additional information.

Although we buy a kilo of cubed, ground beef and chicken each kilo because meat is cheap in Germany We paid 20.01 Euros for all of them.
All of our purchases totaled 49.75 Euros and we managed to stay within our 50 Euro limit.. As a result, we were able to make a balanced distribution as fruit and vegetables, breakfast & dairy products, meat and chicken products.. Thus, we have seen that each product can be purchased in quantities that will easily be enough for a family of 2 for a week.
