Glorious days! We decided to stay in the hostel, we made our hostel reservation as in my post and finally it’s time to stay in the hostel I was even excited while writing it!
Now it’s my turn to ask, “Görkem, what are your recommendations for those who will stay in the hostel? ?” I wrote this article for you.. Today I will tell you what you should pay attention to while staying at the hostel and the golden rules.

Choose Your Bed Right
The first step of staying in a hostel should be choosing our bed correctly.. Although some exceptional hostels have a direct numbered system, in most of them you go and choose the empty one.
My most important criteria when choosing a bed are corner end points with its own area, sockets and places close to the window.. Also, my suggestion for bunk bed preferences is always the upper floor Even though the upper floor is intimidating with its in-and-out event in daily use, it can create a special space for you in the evening, and you can’t sit on your bed like an armchair during the day.

Keep Your Valuables With You
You should have peace of mind about security at hostels. But that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t take any action.. During our stay in the hostel, it would be better not to leave our valuables such as phone, passport, wallet and camera with us.. If we’re going to separate them, it’s best to use hostel lockers.
Most hostels have lockers. Some only have lockers but no locks.. Carrying a simple lock with you is always a good solution.
I don’t want the security issue to be misunderstood, if you have any questions about security in hostels, “are the hostels safe?” I strongly recommend my article on the theme.

Take Care of Personal Cleanliness
You should not forget that all areas except your bed are common. This raises a potential cleaning issue.. This is even more important if you are staying in countries that seem to be relatively hot and polluted such as Thailand, India etc..
Personal precautions are the most important part of cleaning in the hostel.. After choosing a clean hostel, if we also pay attention to personal matters, there will be no problem.. I have important recommendations in my article on cleaning in the hostel, in which I detail personal cleanliness.

Do Not Make Other People Comfortable
No area in the hostel belongs to us alone not. That’s why we shouldn’t bother the people around us, it’s part of respecting them. Let me explain what I mean by disturbing people;
For example, talking loudly in the evening, listening to music. It goes on like opening and closing the doors loudly, using the hostel in a dirty way, etc.. If we don’t pay attention to these rules, we can create antipathy in the social environment by reacting in the hostel.

Adapt to the hostel life
The “hostel life” that Görkem often talks about Yes, there is such a thing! Hostels have a different ritual and atmosphere of their own.. You can’t stay in the hostel without knowing this…
There will be those who say “I’ll stay” Here they just stay in the hostel, they can’t take full advantage of any of its facilities.. I think this subject is very detailed, in short, relax… If you don’t know about hostel life in general, but you want to learn, this article is for you!

Take advantage of hostel facilities
Most of my friends have stayed in hostels but have not fully understood what hostel is…Why? They haven’t been able to take advantage of any of its facilities.. In hostels, you can cook, play games, chat, meet people, live like there…. Of course, whatever you say, first take a look at what hostel facilities are from my post here.

Don’t forget to say hi to people
Sometimes I wonder why greetings are so few in my beautiful hospitable country. I think we should greet more, ask more questions… We should do this abroad too!
Greetings to everyone that is usually seen in the hostel, sometimes you just say “heey”, sometimes “good evening” or a longer chat, but not necessarily there will be a communication. If not, you may be perceived as insincere, be very careful about this and make a warm start with people from all over the world.
Yes, these are my great recommendations for hostel stays.. Actually, I’m giving you even more tips between the lines of my article on hostel, which has more than 10, review, read, live and then write to me! Maybe you will touch on the topics that I have not discovered, you all have a lot of travel-filled days !
