What are tapas? Where to eat Tapas in Barcelona?

WHAT IS TAPAS?

Tapas is like the Spanish equivalent of our cold and hot appetizers. It is served in small plates, in the middle, to share. Although it is paid in touristic cities in Spain, the starting point is to serve the purchased drink with it.. In more local places this tradition still continues.. As Barcelona is one of the most touristic cities in the world, you will appreciate that tapas cannot be considered free:)

WHERE TO EAT TAPAS IN BARCELONA?

Although it is known by tourists, two venues in Barcelona that still do justice to this job are Ciudad Condal (Cuitat Comtal) and Cerveceria Catalana. The menu of two restaurants belonging to the same group is exactly the same. Grilled cuttlefish (Grilled cuttlefish), Andaluz style baby squids (baby squids), Warm escalivada with goat cheese (Warm eggplant with goat cheese), Crispy camembert (fried camembert cheese with hazelnut particles) and Cabreados egg style (brava sauce on match potatoes and two eyed eggs) whose taste you can’t believe should definitely be tried.

Montaditos are tiny snacks served on toasted bread.. Of my recommendations above, Crispy Camembert and what we experienced at Txapela Taberna in the first picture are delicious examples for montaditos.
