Traveling the World Per Woman

I met Sara at a hostel in Costa Rica. The reason I want to introduce him to you is because he is only 18 years old and traveling alone. A summary of the conversation between us;

– Where are you from? How old are you? Your education level?
+ I’m from Switzerland. I will start university this year. I’m 18.
– Are you traveling with someone or alone?
+ I’m traveling alone.
– You’re 18 and you came to Central America by yourself?
+ (Laughing) yes.
– How long will your trip last?
+ Total of 87 days.
– Which countries does it cover?
+ Mostly spent in Costa Rica. Because I took a Spanish course with a family for 4 weeks. I volunteered at a hotel in the rainforest for 4 weeks. From here I’ll take a short trip to Nicaragua, then back to Switzerland.
– What did you do in volunteer work?
+ Cleaning, reception, waitresses.
– Did you have any bad experiences during your trip? ?
+ Sometimes they chatter on the street, other than that I haven’t experienced anything bad.
– How well did you learn Spanish?
+ I learned enough to travel around Latin America. I will come to this area again next year.
After talking, I said let me take a picture of you, if you want, take an item with you, let’s have a color. He said, “Oh, I love my bag very much. He didn’t melt, he took the big bag on the bed and had this photo taken. Women are the same everywhere. It doesn’t matter your age, your hometown, where you are, if you don’t have a bag 🙂

Well, let’s get to the point. One of the messages I received the most was “we do not dare to go on a woman’s walk”. At least half of the solo travelers I met on the way were women. I think you should not belittle yourself and your fellow men by saying such things.
