Lightgrass is a useful herb that is used especially in the fight against cancer, has immune system-strengthening properties, and contains many vitamins like the alphabet.. As it is known as Uçkun or Işkın, it is also called Highland Banana.. When you eat it raw, it is as if you are eating a sour, crunchy and juicy green apple.. At least that’s how I felt
So where did it blow me off to make rayonberry jam? I often go to the Netherlands for work.. Every time I go to Rotterdam, I ate a jam for breakfast at the hotel I stayed in and I liked it incredibly.. I took a picture of the packaging of the jam, but I neither knew the product in the picture nor knew Dutch.. When I saw this weed in the market recently, that picture came to my mind and I said, this is it.. Later, I searched the internet and found out that this herb is light herb and its jam can be made.. So I rolled up my sleeves and went into the kitchen, here’s the recipe for rhubarb jam.
Ringshorn jam recipe:
- Rhoganygrass (I took 500 g)
- Half a lemon
- Sugar or honey (we don’t buy sugar at home, organic we always use honey)
- 3 cloves
- Fresh ginger
Chop the light herbs and grate the ginger we put it in a pot. Add 3 cloves, sliced half a lemon and sugar/honey according to our taste to the pot and add enough water to cover it.. We turn the gold on a light-medium level and let it boil. Since the herb itself is so sour, I took out the lemon slices after a few minutes so that the lemon wouldn’t turn sour.. You can do it the way you like.. After boiling for 20-25 minutes, we leave it to cool.. Your cooled Rangswort Jam is now ready to eat with pleasure.
Enjoy your meal.
