As I said above, we spent 3 days in Yalikavak, but 2 days of it were for some fun.. In other words, you can easily visit the places to visit in Yalikavak in 1 day. If you are going to Yalıkavak via Bodrum center, I recommend you to see 7 and 8 on the map on the road in the first place.
In Geris Mahallesi, which is on my list. the sun sets quite nicely. You can use this place to watch the view of Yalikavak at sunset.
Places to visit in Yalikavak are generally close to each other.. Easy to get around but a car is required. Since we went to Yalıkavak directly via Torba Junction, our first stop on our list was Yalıkavak Marina.
Yalıkavak Marina (Palmarina)
I can say that Yalıkavak Marina, the address of luxury life in Bodrum, is the best marina I have ever seen.. Yalıkavak Marina, which hosts more than 100 brands, gourmet restaurants, bars, cafes, clubs and various entertainment venues, also has 2 hotels.
Yalıkavak Marina has the capacity to host approximately 650 yachts.. When you visit here, you really feel like you are entering another world.
Especially when you see the yachts in the Old Town part of the marina, you realize that the other yachts are boats. In Old Town Nusret, Xuma, Fenix, Rolex, Dior

WHO IS YALIKAVAK MARINA?
Azerbaijani businessman Mubariz Mansimov, who took over Yalıkavak Marina in 2011 owned and operated by Palmali Holding. The previous owner of the marina was Cefi Kamhi and he sold the marina for 42 million dollars.. I think this beautiful marina is a bit cheap in a place like Bodrum.
There is incredible traffic in Yalıkavak Marina in summer.. Parking is also a problem. You can park your vehicle in side streets or paid parking lots.. The location of the marina is here.
Tilkicik Beach

Tilkicik Bay, located in the center of Yalikavak, is a cove with many hotels, sites and restaurants.. The sea of Tilkicik Bay is quite clean despite the settlements.
The sea and the beach in the bay consist of small pebbles.. The beach of the hotel where we stayed was located in Tilkicik Bay.. the sea is really beautiful. Don’t forget to take your snorkel with you when you come here.. There is some algae in the sea, but it is not a problem.
In this bay, you can either benefit from the facilities of the enterprises or you can throw an umbrella chair and enjoy yourself.. The location of the beach on the map is here.
Yalıkavak Public Beach
The Yalıkavak Public Beach, which is among the beaches of the hotels, is a very small beach. There are only umbrellas here, no sunbeds.. Probably the number of umbrellas is between 10-15, so it is a very small public beach.. We couldn’t see WC, changing cabin.
The sea is clean and the beach consists of a mixture of pebbles and sand.. The public beach was not crowded when we went. There is an area in the immediate vicinity where you can park your car.. Yalikavak public beach does not have any entrance fee.. Its location is here.
Ponormus Rock Tombs

The Panormus rock tombs, which you can see on your way to Kdür Public Beach, are impressive but in a very neglected condition.. Written on it, rubbish left behind.
Unfortunately, we could not protect our historical and natural beauties here, as in many places.. I hope these tombs will be unearthed one day.

Kdür Public Beach
Küdür Beach, A public beach located 100 meters from the Yalikavak Rock Tombs. Although the sea of Kdür Beach is a little pebbly at the entrance, it is sandy afterward.. There are shady places because there are trees here.. There are also toilets and cabins.
There is no entrance fee as Kdür Beach is a public beach.. You have to bring your food and drinks with you, there are no businesses around.
Kdür Beach gets very crowded on weekends.. We didn’t stay here long because the atmosphere was not pleasant.. We took pictures and left after having children, crowds, and barbecue smoke.
We sneaked into the closed Dodo Beach, which is right next to it, and stays on this beach as if it were reserved for us and Üstün. We enjoyed it. If you happen to go there, I think you should try your luck too.. The location of Kdür Beach is here.
Geriş Village
We came to Geriş Village, which is the best location in terms of scenery on our list of places to visit in Yalikavak. You can watch the Yalıkavak view best on the routes located on Geriş Village.
You can also enjoy sunset at the restaurants in the village.. There are houses decorated with such beautiful bougainvillea in this village that you can admire it.. The location of Geriş Village on the map is here.
Yalıkavak Windmills
If you are looking for the fresh breeze of Yalikavak, the address is Yalıkavak Windmills. The largest number of windmills in the Bodrum peninsula are located in Yalikavak.
The mills built in 1850 belong to Muammer Mehmet Kaya. This was the only windmill in the world that still functions.. The view of Yalikavak from where the mills are located is magnificent.
Bodrum If you come to Yalikavak from the center, you pass by the windmills.. If you have time, you should stop by. There is also a facility where the Yalikavak Windmills are located.. Location here.
Dibeklihan Culture and Art Village
We really liked the Dibeklihan Culture and Art Village architectural structure and shops made of stone, located on the road to Yakaköy on the left 2 km after turning in the direction of Yalikavak from the center of Bodrum and entering the Yalıkavak road.. This is a very beautiful building integrated with nature.. Dibeklihan Culture and Art Village hosts various artistic events such as exhibitions, concerts, as well as organizations such as engagements, weddings and invitations. doing. There is also a jewelry shop dedicated to the founder and architect of Dibeklihan Gülay Altay Tezer Hanımefendi and her mother, the late Republic Teacher and her mother Nadide Altay.
There are many shops in Dibeklihan, restaurant and gallery available. Various objects that the Anatolian people used in their daily life and which are about to be forgotten are exhibited in the Arch Room located here.. This is a very aesthetic and artistic place indeed.. There are also areas where you can take lots of photos.
