I visited Blood Compact, which means ‘blood brotherhood’ in Turkish, on my first day in Bohol Island, Philippines.. So, what kind of memory this monument we see in the picture has in history, I would like to give you a brief information.

2. Baclayon Church

This place is known as the most famous and oldest church of Bohol Island, one of the Philippine islands. By paying 50 Philippine Pesos for Baclayon Church, you can visit both the museum inside the church and all parts of the church.

Baclayon Church was badly damaged in 2013 in the great earthquake on Bohol Island. 18. The most interesting feature of the Roman Catholic church, which was built by local people at the beginning of the century, is the use of the whites of millions of eggs while cementing the coral stones.

3. Phyton and Butterfly Sanctuary

In this place known as python sanctuary on Bohol Island, you will be accompanied by a guide for 90 Philippine pesos at the entrance. I have observed many types of pythons here, both harmful and harmless.

If you are confident, you can approach harmless pythons and get them around your neck.. You can also observe animals such as monkeys and crocodiles in this conservation area.

4. Loboc River Cruise

One of the moments I enjoyed the most in Bohol Island, Philippines was the 1-1.5 hour tour I took on the Loboc River .

After a short wait, you can get on the floating restaurants for a total of 25-30 people with the voucher you get by paying 450 Philippine Peso at the entrance of the Loboc River.

Tour along the Loboc River with both lunch buffet and relaxing live music Well worth every peso I paid. You are advancing along the river tour accompanied by legendary landscapes.

The performances of the local people of the Philippines, whom we encountered several times during the river tour, were really impressive.. I find it useful to keep your camera on all the time during this tour.

5. Tarsier Conservation Area

Let me introduce you to the smallest primate in the world, which lives especially in Southeast Asian countries and certain regions: Tarsier Monkey >.

When I heard that it is possible to see these tiny creatures, which are unfortunately in danger of extinction, alive on the Island of Bohol, I sighed in the Tarsier Conservation Area.

Paying 60 Philippine Pesos at the entrance, I visited the protected area in as little as fifteen minutes.

I observed the Tarsier Monkey, which is active at night and passive during the day, walking along the paths of the forest in the protected area, as in the image.

Tarsier Monkey, whose length varies between 8-16 cm her eyes caught my attention. When you come to Bohol, I say stop by the Tarsier Conservation Area on the way to see the smallest primates in the world.

You can buy Tarsier Monkey magnets as a souvenir from a large gift shop on the way out.

6. Man-Made Forest

As you head towards the Chocolate Hills on Bohol Island, a 2 km long enchanting forest greets you on the way.

This astonishing forest along the way was built by the locals using mahogany at the time.

While passing through huge mahogany trees, all of which are the same height, you can stop on the road to take pictures or capture excellent videos. I say.

7. Chocolate Hills

Perhaps one of the most important reasons I traveled to Bohol Island, Philippines was to see and feel the Chocolate Hills alive. I spent about 1 hour in the most important place of Bohol, which I entered by paying 50 Philippine Pesos at the entrance.

It is really hard to believe that the Chocolate Hills, which are at the top of the places to visit in the Philippines and have a supernatural landscape, were created by human hands.

It has an oval shape and is 30-50 meters in length

If you are coming from Tagbilaran city center to Alona Beach, your round-trip transportation cost will be around 500 Philippine Pesos on average.

Bonus :  Danao or Doljo Beach

If in the evening If you want to watch the sunset above, these 2 beaches are also very beautiful.. These beaches are both calmer and have rare beaches where you can watch the sunset with pleasure.
