Osaka-Kobe-Nara Travel Guide

Japan Osaka. Kobe. Nara. There is nothing better than chasing your dreams.. By following every obstacle that comes your way, whatever motivates you in this life, you can destroy everything that comes your way.. This job is a job of passion.. Whenever I’d come this far, “What are you doing here?. Go to Fethiye, Marmaris, Bodrum, Çeşme. What are you doing where you don’t know your way and your language?” I always say to myself. Direction, Japan.

1. Japan Osaka – Kobe – Getting Started in Nara

I mutter the answer to myself again, “This is a matter of curiosity.. If I don’t go, I’ll crack it.

” On the way down, again, “I wonder if this curiosity and excitement will be one of the most beautiful destinations of Asian culture that took me away from me? This time, who knows, maybe I would hate Asia now?” I was asking myself questions like.

Japan, Kyoto, Osaka, Kobe, Nara, Hiroshima I have prepared travel guides for cities one by one.. I have fulfilled my biggest dream. Millet, for you who dream. Enjoyable reading.

But after I came and saw it, everything got messy again. What hatred! The more people spend time, the more they see and learn, the more they love and fall in love.

Just like my love for Japan, which started from our first stop, Osaka.. Just like the excitement of the never-ending longing to travel after watching the South Korea-Japan clip that I’ve included below, is a constant part of your life…

Japan Osaka Kansai International Airport-Osaka

We have 2 options to come here. We will either use the ferries from South Korea or come by plane.. After a lot of dilemmas, we finally decided on the plane.

Good thing we did.. Because July-August is the period of storm and rain.. With doubts and hesitations, we are going to the airport in Busan, South Korea.

Remember our airline company Peach airlines. This company is the cheapest here.. Additional charge for luggage. But it is a very nice company.

However, we know that before we go, we need to have the printouts of the ticket with us and that we need to be at the port at least 2 hours in advance.. Because you CANNOT check-in before 50 minutes.

japan Osaka – Japan

Finally our plane takes off. I have never experienced such turbulence in my life.. More than 10 minutes later, the plane continues on its crash-and-go route.. But I don’t understand how 2 hours pass while watching the magnificent sights we see along the way.

We follow our journey to watch the white clouds wrapping the islands, the slow gliding of the raindrops through the glass, the foaming of the waves as they beat the beaches.

As the plane begins to descend, we realize how green and mountainous Japan is.. On the other hand, we fill in the entry documents that we need to fill in when entering the country.

I feel relieved as soon as the plane’s wheel glides over the sea and touches the land.. We are in the land of that dream world that I have been obsessed with like crazy and that I think I should see for myself.. We are now in Japan…

You will be heading to a city that hosts one of the most entertaining nightlife in the country.. There will be bars, pubs, izakayas, nightclubs all over the city. Prices are quite expensive.

Entertainment

Night Clubs

We were going to spare time for nightlife in the 2 cities we planned before we came to the country.. 1 would be Osaka and the other would be Tokyo.. Dozens of nightclub options, especially around Dotonbori in Osaka, showed how well we made the right decision.

Japan Osaka Dotonbori

Cheval (click for website), Club Circus (click for website) and Ammona (click for website) club were the 3 clubs that caught our attention the most.

Where to visit in Osaka? I will be honest about this. Don’t expect much about places to visit in Osaka.. In cities like Nara and Kyoto, there are many, many more and beautiful places to see.

But I still made my own to-do list for 1 or 2 days.. While I am telling you the routes, I will tell you Osaka directly.. After Osaka is over, I will talk about Nara, which was once the capital of the country, and Kobe, which is famous for its wonderful meat.

Japan in Osaka Places To Visit – Routes Of The Places I Will Tell Below

Now. For these 3 cities, I prepared a guide for places to visit separately.. Otherwise, this post will be very, very long and you will be angry with me.. In order not to get angry, I have listed all the points you will visit in 3 cities one by one in 3 different articles.. Places to Visit in Osaka, you can check the details in my article, sir.

8. About Nara ?

<p style="text-align: justify;"The capital of the strongKansai/strong region. It is a historical city that was already the capital in the 8th century.. That's why it's perfect for seeing historical buildings and temples./pp id="caption-attachment-3437" class="wp-caption-text"Nara Streets/pp style="text-align : justify;"Although the city is moderately large, all the buildings you will see are located in the protected park.. You can see all the places to visit in strongPlaces to visit in Nara/strong./ph2 style="text-align: center;"strong9. About Kobe ?/strong/h2p style="text-align: justify;"As I said, many of the cities you will visit are right around Osaka.. Kobe is one of them, and after only a 1-hour JR ride, it is a city where we only go to eat meat.. That's why we didn't stay in this city./pp id="caption-attachment-3457" class="wp-caption-text"Places To Visit In Kobe – Routes Of The Places I Will Tell Below/pp style= "text-align: justify;"But if you want to stay and want to see the list of hotels, click here. When I say meat, it is the most expensive meat in the world, which is given to cows to drink beer and grown by massaging to classical music, which is expressed in thousands of dollars per kilo.. So did our heads reach the sky? Was it as exaggerated? strongPlaces to visit in Kobe/strong I explained one by one in my article./ph2 style="text-align: center;"strong10. How many days should you stay? /strong/h2p style="text-align: justify;"I'm cutting it short, I wrote a lot again. If you are going to do the Osaka-Kobe-Nara route, 3 days is enough. If this is 3 days; You can spend half a day in Kobe, half a day in Nara, and spend time in Osaka in the evening./pp id="caption-attachment-3449" class="wp-caption-text"Kobe beef/p

You can spend the remaining 2 full days in Osaka. Because, especially if you want to see the city in the daytime, see both Osaka castle and Kaiyukan Aquarium, you’ll have 2 days to go.. Well, if you’re having fun in the evening, you’ll most likely be waking up around noon.. That’s why you should consider these options.

If you add Kyoto to your route, which I would definitely recommend to you, you would go and make a separate program in Kyoto, o however, you should set aside at least 2 more days for Kyoto.

11. What should not be done in Osaka-Kobe-Nara?

  • Eat Kobe meat for sure
  • Taste Okonomiyaki and Takoyaki dishes
  • Enjoy at least one night in the Dotonbori area
  • Visit amazing restaurants one by one
  • Wander in the park I mentioned in Nara
  • Shop in Umeda, Namba and Shinsaibashi areas
  • See Osaka castle in Osaka’s historic district
  • See Kaiyukan Aquarium for sure
  • Dotonbori in neon lights get lost
  • Play pachinko or arcade at least once

Osaka doesn’t just give you a developed city. At the same time, it also allows you to reach cities of historical importance such as Kyoto and Nara, which are located next to the most historical cities of the country and the nation, within train distance.

Japan Osaka Shinsaibashi

So it’s a beautiful city, both in terms of location and plenty of entertainment options to offer.. Especially if the city, which is the number 1 food and nightlife city, and the city, which is famous for its meat like Kobe, is a 1-hour train away, it will probably be a stopping point you would prefer.

12. When to go to Osaka-Kobe-Nara?

Summer has always been rainy…  Let me tell you, the period from the end of March to the beginning of April or from mid-October to mid-November is the ideal period.. But unfortunately the most expensive period. Even in summer, the periods I mentioned are very beautiful in terms of the visual feast that nature will offer.

Japan Osaka Dotonbori

But still, especially in July, since many festivals are held in both Osaka and Kyoto, it may be a reason to come for a bit.. In fact, the guys have prepared a very nice site about which festival is in which month.. Click it.

13. What I haven’t done, but what are my suggestions for you?

  • I didn’t go to Universal Studios. Since I have been to the USA many times before, I did not feel the need to go.. Click if you want to go.
  • I didn’t go to bars that did karaoke. Because we both had no life left and unfortunately we did not have Japanese friends to keep up with us.. Maybe it will be yours…
  • “It was huge and beautiful.” I have not come across a festival that I can say. But if you coincide your future period with the famous periods I mentioned above, you should definitely try to see someone.

Japan Osaka View of Osaka from the Castle

  • I have not been to the area where the Shitennoji Temple is located in Osaka. If you go, you will get off at T:26 Shitennoji-mae-Yuhigaoka (Tanimachi Line, which is the Blue Line) Station.
  • Also, I did not go to Tennoji Park, one of the most important parks of the city, located next to Shitennoji Temple.. We’re tired of the park and the temple now. If you’re still excited, I say go for it.. You will get off at T:27 Tennoji (Tanimachi Line which is the Blue Line) Station.

14. My warnings about Osaka-Kobe-Nara

  • You can’t exchange money at night in many places. You may not even be able to withdraw money using your cards.. So try to handle it during the day. (You can withdraw money from ATMs in restaurants such as 7/11.. Contact your bank before you go. )
  • Many subways close after 12pm. So try to arrange your transportation knowing this.
  • If you are going to nearby cities such as Nara-Kobe and you have a JR ticket, do not kill for the days you will go to these cities.. The money you will pay for the round trip is around 1,000 yen anyway.. But that JR pass, 5,000 yen per day. If you don’t get JR too, you can get Kansai Pass.. Transportation to all surrounding cities is free, once purchased.

Japan Osaka Subway

  • If you’re hungry, there are restaurants open after 12pm. However, most of them are closed.
  • Watch out for older sisters who market prostitutes under the name of massage.. They’re going to be after you pretty much.. Especially in Dotonbori and Shinsaibashi district, it is the place to say that it is on every street.. You know…
  • Study a little bit about transportation. Memorize your stop very well.. Note on your phone. Make sure to write down the name, line or number of the stop.
  • The subways are always crowded.. Try not to coincide with the hours after work.
  • As I mentioned above, arrange your accommodation especially in the area close to Dotonbori, around Namba.
  • Whatever you do, try the dishes I have mentioned.

I have briefly summarized the 3-day Osaka-Nara-Kobe tour that started out great. I hope I didn’t bore you too much. I have to explain everything so. I want you to dream so much and see those completely different lands that I would like to try to share a little bit of your excitement.

For accommodation in Japan Booking.com Use , Hotelscombined.com and Hostelworld.com for Hostel.

I still get excited even typing. What a great start it was in my trip to Japan. 3 days passed like 3 weeks.. It surprised me a lot at first sight.. People being more sociable than we expected, opening a door while entering restaurants and witnessing the completely different world inside, the respect and kindness of people, the taste of food, the beauty of streets, parks, temples, the ease of trains…
