5. Things to Do Before Starting the Pulpit Rock Climb

As we can understand from here, a small bag for hiking (if no camping) will be enough. I have listed the list of equipment required for camping or climbing that will take 3-5 hours one by one for you :
- Shoes and socks : Sneakers that will make you feel comfortable or trekking shoes will do the trick for this short climb.. Sports socks can be preferred for socks. Also, even though Pulpit Rock is a short hiking route, make sure you have a Band-Aid with you.
- Trousers and Shorts : Waterproof, breathable and rainproof shorts or trousers suitable for trekking
- T-shirt, Fleece or Coat : T-shirts that breathe and shed sweat, a raincoat, a fleece to keep the body warm and coats suitable for climbing can be preferred.
- Backpack : Waterproof backpacks can be preferred.
- Other equipment : You can bring a hat, beret, scarf and gloves with you according to seasonal conditions.. If you are thinking of camping, a flashlight and a head lamp can also be a life saver.
- Food and beverage : Since the climb will take at least 3-5 hours, you can bring a small amount of food and drink with you.. Also, make sure you have enough water with you, as water sources are scarce throughout the climb.
