Mykonos Beaches, Nightlife & Entertainment Venues

Mykonos (Mykonos, Mykonos), one of the most well-known holiday paradises in the Cyclades (Cyclades) archipelago group of Greece, has beautiful beaches, It is among the most popular Greek islands for many reasons such as its entertainment life that lasts until the morning, its free structure appealing to all tastes and segments.. A typical day for Mykonos holiday would be to sunbathe and swim on the beach during the day, to start having fun at the beach club of the same venue in the evening, and then go to a bar to have nice drinks or have fun at the disco until late.. In this article, I will tell you about the most famous places of Mykonos, which I think will help you to see Mykonos beaches, which restaurants and bars you should eat and drink, which bars and clubs you should have fun in, where the heart of Mykonos nightlife is.. You will find the most mentioned places among Mykonos places to visit at the end of the article.

The beaches of Mykonos I mentioned above. I marked some of them (Map is from greeka.com)

Before we start, let me give some general information about life in Mykonos. Beaches and beach clubs named beach or beach club usually do not charge entrance fee, there may be situations in luxury ones that require you to pay for the car, such as parking valet service.

Umbrella and Sunbed Rental on Mykonos Beaches

Organized beach, only and the places where everyone hangs out with their own means are called unorganized beach. Rental fees for two sun loungers and an umbrella range from 12-30 Euros, beaches in quieter parts of the island are the lowest in prices and famous places known as party venues are the ones with the highest prices.. There are also shady places such as the sultan’s corner with mosquito nets on socialite beaches, and these are called cabana, their daily prices start from 100 Euros.

The beaches with the possibility of renting sunbeds and umbrellas are called organized beaches.

Mykonos Beaches Food and Drink Subject

Just behind the beaches There are restaurants, if it is a quiet beach, you can have your meal at the restaurant and continue to enjoy the beach.. Beach clubs, on the other hand, usually have bars where food is served, and everyone starts to have fun with music and shows in these bars around 5-6 pm.. Beach clubs usually go on until around 9 pm and then the crowd disperses.. The same crowd gets rid of their beach clothes and flocks to bars and clubs in a more fancy way, and the party continues until the morning in these places.

If we generalize; We can say that the west of Mykonos is the center, the south is the party-entertainment-alternative zone, and the east and north are calm.. Do not forget that you should make your hotel reservation as soon as possible, especially if you are going in July and August.. Click here to review all of the Mykonos hotels and their reviews on Booking.com and make a reservation.

Now, let’s sort the famous places by dividing them into zones as I mentioned, and which one is suitable for whom.

There are usually restaurants just behind the beaches in Mykonos.

Mykonos Nightlife & Entertainment Places

This area, which is the center of Mykonos, is called Mykonos Town. Windmills (Mykonos Windmills), the symbol of Mykonos, and Little Venice (Little Venice), which we can call the eating and drinking area in Mykonos), are located here.. It will be enough to just wander around here to see the cute white houses, flowery windows and narrow streets that are identified with Greece and catch wonderful photo frames. The central area, which is quiet due to being on the beaches in other parts, starts to get lively from 7 pm with visitors coming for shopping, dinner and most importantly watching the famous sunset in Mykonos.. In the transportation section of my Mykonos Travel Guide article, I mentioned that it would be more practical to rent an ATV instead of a car, if you come to the windmills near the sunset by car, you will understand what I mean It is very difficult to find a place to park the ATV, even if you leave the car.

Center of Mykonos: view of windmills from Little Venice area..

Skandinavian Bar

If you want to experience the entertainment life that lasts until the morning in Mykonos, you should stop by here. Skandinavian Bar is very close to the famous windmills and is open between 20:00 and 06:00.. In addition to the entrance fee of 5 Euro, beer 5-6 Euro, cocktail 8-10 Euro. If you want to open a bottle, vodka bottle prices start from 110 Euros.. A one-meter shot presentation (one meter of shots) can be fun, especially in a large group of friends, the price is 60 Euros.. It is good to dress comfortably but stylishly.

Queen Bar (Queen of Mykonos)

If you want to try new cocktails or taste delicious drinks in a nice environment, this might be the right address. Special attention is paid to the variety and quality of the drinks, as it is referred to as the Champagne & Cocktail Bar.. The bar, which opens at 10 am for coffee lovers, welcomes partygoers until the first light of the morning.. Similar to the Scandinavian Bar, comfortable yet stylish clothing will be appropriate.

Astra

If you want to hang out a little more luxuriously, you can choose this place, because cocktail prices are around 17 Euros.. Better if your clothing is stylish to keep up with the prices.. Open from 20:00 to 08:00.

The center of Mykonos starts to get crowded in the evening.

Caprice of Mykonos

The bar located in the Little Venice area, It arouses curiosity with its place in the list of the best bars in the world.. Rather than having fun until the morning; “Let’s watch the sunset at the windmills of Mykonos, get lost in the side streets for a while, and when we get tired, let’s sit in a nice place and have a drink” appeals to their heads.. Those who feel more sluggish can set the sun directly here, of course Open from 12:00 to 02:00, beer prices start from 11 Euros. You can go in flip-flops clothing mode.

Lola Cafe-Bar

Again, one of the recommended places to hang out against the view in the Little Venice area. A popular place for those who love the cocktail bar concept, cocktail prices start around 15 Euros.

Jackie O’ Bar: The most ‘gay friendly’ bar in Mykonos Jackie O’, which is considered to be a ‘bar’, is famous for its drag shows, called drag shows, something like our cabarets.. You can go at sunset and stay until 1 am. By the way, not to be confused with Jackie O’ Beach, located in the Super Paradise area in the south of the island, I will explain it in a moment.. Both have the same name and belong to the same group, but one (which I described here) has a bar concept and the other has a beach club concept.

Mykonos It is very enjoyable to have your meal and sip your drink by the sea in the Little Venice area of .

Mykonos Beaches

We came to the most lively and crazy part of Mykonos, the south of the island.. Generally preferred by ‘party people’, there are suitable places for families, homosexuals, nudists, in short, everyone.

Agios Ioannis Beach

The beach, slightly below the center of Mykonos, is in a quiet format, with a bit of a hippie feel.. According to some, it owes that it is the most beautiful beach of Mykonos, in addition to the similar sea and sand duplication with the others, as well as being one of the places to watch the sunset in Mykonos.. The island you will see across will be Delos Island, which is listed among the places to visit in Mykonos.

Ornos Beach

Ornos Beach, one of the ‘family friendly’ beaches in Mykonos, can be very crowded in high season as it is preferred by families with children.. One of the right choices in Mykonos for a holiday with children.

Psarou Beach is one of the most fashionable places among Mykonos beaches.

Psarou Beach

Yes, here we are, the most ‘money-smelling’ of Mykonos If you are a woman who likes to walk on the beach with make-up, blow-dried hair and stylish bikinis, take selfies with puckered lips and check-in on social media, or if you are a man who likes to spend money with fancy ladies, this is the place for you.. If you go to Psarou, which is known as the VIP area of Mykonos and we can briefly call it a jet society place, like me, keep your eyes peeled, you can come across a celebrity at any moment.. I saw Eda Taşpınar, and those who went a week after I returned saw Gerard Butler

Nammos Restaurant is the most famous restaurant of Mykonos, we can even say that it is known around the world.. It is criticized for being too expensive, but in Istanbul, for example, if you eat at a famous restaurant across the Bosphorus, you will pay more.. So if you say, “I want to be in an elite environment and have a luxurious experience, I’m ready to pay a little extra for it”, you can try it, of course, if you find a place.

Main meal and side dishes When you say starter, drink, service fee, you get 100-150 Euros for two people (I’m guessing, I just went to the beach out of curiosity and came back a little later). By examining the menu carefully, find the things that suit you for the price and order those things in particular; Be careful not to place open-ended orders that leave the choice to the waiter, such as a ‘bottle of wine’.. Otherwise, the thing that you drink as the wine next to your meal may bore you by being equivalent to hundreds of Euros in the account.. Also, unless you are very famous or have unlimited money, you should stay away from the real VIPs, or lodges, where champagne is opened for tens of thousands of Euros.

Mykonos Nammos Restaurant

Scorpios

Psarou Beach, which I mentioned above and Scorpios, which is similar in format to the Nammos Restaurant duplication, can be nice for those who want to lie on the beach during the day (this area is called Paraga or Paranga) and then move on to the restaurant.. Again famous, again expensive, again tikky.

Kalua Beach

The beach right next to Scorpios and in the Paraga region is also one of the most beautiful beaches, according to some, it’s up to you to choose one of the beautiful ones Are the prices, you know, high again.

Paradise Beach

You are a student, a recent graduate or someone with an average-paying job, so you don’t have a lot of money. But you still want to see the crazy beach parties of Mykonos. So let’s take you to Paradise Beach The crowd here is very young and very lively, prices are reasonable. Young people sunbathing on the beach from 5 pm on, as the music gets louder, they go to the Guapaloca and Paradise Lounge just behind, and start the dance and entertainment.. A local had advised me not to be surprised by bottled drinks (such as beer) because the quality of the drink is low, especially in cocktails, due to the cheap prices, I don’t know how true it is, but let me share it.. If you don’t like this place, you can also skip to the Tropicana Beach Bar right next to it.

Entrance to Mykonos Paradise Beach

Paradise Club

You came to Paradise Beach during the day, then you danced in beach bars. Now you want to take your shower, get dressed and continue the night in the same place.. Paradise Club at Paradise Beach is Mykonos’ biggest and the world’s best 17. it was a night club. It is known for hosting famous DJs, you can check out the events on this page.

If you think the environment in the Paradise Beach area is suitable for the holiday you are looking for, it would be logical to stay as close as possible.. Click to review the nearest hotels and make reservations on booking.com.

Cavo Paradiso

One of the most famous (and disconnected) nightclubs of Mykonos, very close to Paradise Beach.. The entrance prices of Cavo Paradiso, which is frequented by many famous DJs including David Guetta, can be between 25-50 Euros depending on the event that day, discounts can be made for early entry (early night 2).. Beer prices start at 8 euros and cocktails around 10 euros. Open between 23:30 – 07:00, the music style is generally House and Techno.. DJ performances start around 3 am, so what did we say, dance until the morning in Mykonos! You can check the events on the website and even make reservations if you wish.

Identity checks are made at the club entrance and there is a minimum age of 21.. Also, it is not allowed to go inside with beach clothes.

Parties start at Paradise Beach at 5 pm in Mykonos.

Super Paradise Beach

As we can see, “paradises” in Mykonos (heaven) does not end, although Paradise and Super Paradise seem to be the same at first glance, they are independent places. We can say that Super Paradise beach is The most famous beach of Mykonos, unlike the usually very young community of its neighbor Paradise Beach, Super Paradise Beach has a more mixed audience; young people, families, celebrities, gays, nudists, in short, everyone is coming.. If you don’t want to encounter homosexual and nudist (naked) people, you should be careful to stay on the left side of the beach.

I loved this place, although it is so famous, 20 Euros for two sunbeds and an umbrella. By paying, you can listen to the beautiful music in the background, swim in its clear waters and spend the whole day. When you are hungry, you can eat for 10-15 Euros, drink beer for 4-5 Euros, watch the shows in the bar and dance as you wish.. I can easily recommend Super Paradise Beach for vacationers like me who are between the ages of 25-35, without children, who love fun but are not too keen on breaking up and have an average budget.. There must be a lot of people who think like me, as accommodation opportunities here are among the priority choices, especially in high season, make your reservation as soon as possible.. You can check out the hotels in the Super Paradise area here.

I loved Super Paradise Beach in Mykonos.

Pinkie Beach

The beach right next to Super Paradise Beach is located in Super Paradise Otherwise, I think it can be passed.

Jackie O’ Beach

Pinkie The beach next to the Beach belongs to the same group as the Jackie O’ Bar I mentioned while describing the central area.. It is said to be a nice beach club in line with the general fun atmosphere of the Super Paradise area.

Elia Beach

When I was talking about Super Paradise, I said stay to the left if you don’t want to enter the gay and nudist areas.. On the contrary, if you go to the right, you come to Elia Beach.. There were two reasons why I went here; firstly I have heard that it is one of the most beautiful beaches of Mykonos, and secondly, I do not want to come back to Mykonos without seeing the nudist beach

Fun at Mykonos Super Paradise Beach Club..

For one, Mykonos is already a beautiful place with sea and beach, and frankly I couldn’t see anything different in Elia Beach. ; On the contrary, he alienated me a little with his repulsive rules such as “if you are not going to eat at the restaurant, you cannot sit on the sun loungers in the first three rows closest to the sea”.. Also, the lack of wifi and the fact that the umbrella-sun lounger is 25 Euros made me think that I would go to Super Paradise again, but Elia Beach may be more suitable for those who find it too lively and uncomfortable and look for a quieter beach.

My curiosity about the nudist beach was satisfied, so I made the right choice for the second topic.. I think we can say that Elia Beach is the line separating the homosexual-nudist section of Mykonos, which is suitable for everyone.. The cliffs separate the small beaches from each other and at the same time hide the people who stand apart from the general public who prefer there, from the crowd they want to stand apart.. I walked along the cliffs and saw a few small nudist and gay beaches and then came back (for shame I didn’t take a picture).

Behind me While Elia Beach is navigating the cliffs leading to the nudist beach..

The first thing that comes to mind when it comes to nudist beach is the sights that everyone wants to see, and super handsome naked girls and super handsome naked boys are definitely the ones that come to mind. No, it will be a big disappointment for those who have such expectations.. There are mostly middle-aged uncles and some middle-aged aunts.. It’s a bit of a strange situation since we’re not used to it anyway; You’re embarrassed that it will be a shame or you will see me looking at you and you don’t know what to do, at least that’s what happened to me On the other hand, gays were having sex comfortably on the beach, but I only saw those who kissed and sniffed. After all, those who wonder why Mykonos Island has adjectives such as ‘freedom’ and ‘addressing alternative tastes’ can stop by this part of the island.

Mykonos Beaches: East of the Island

“Mykonos’ is one of the few people who followed my posts on social media during my holiday in Mykonos. Questions such as “Can you go as a family?”. With its features such as being an entertainment island, preferred by gays and lesbians, and having a nudist beach, Mykonos can create question marks in the minds of families with children.. If you want to have a quiet sea-sun holiday with your family, the east of Mykonos Island will be the most suitable area for you.. For me, this is the part farthest from nightlife and noisy beach parties (we can put the north of the island in second place).

Kalo Livadi Beach

One of the peaceful corners of Mykonos with its sandy beach, shallow (not deepening suddenly) water and numerous sunbeds and umbrellas.. The fact that the beach is quite long saves you the hateful torture of ‘sunbathing with people you don’t know’ and even in high season you can have a bit of your own space.

Kalafati Beach

Do you like water sports? If yes, add Kalafati Beach (also known as Kalafati Beach); because there is the opportunity to do all kinds of water sports and entertainment such as windsurf, kitesurf, jet ski, scuba diving (diving), banana.. Being away from the crowd and noise, it will also make those looking for a quiet corner happy.

If you are tired of the wind of Mykonos, try not to choose Kalafati beach; It is a place where you will feel the unstoppable wind of the island as it can be understood from being the center of surfing events.

If you like water sports, your choice among Mykonos Beaches should be Kalafati Beach. .

Mykonos Beaches: North of the Island

Kiki’s Tavern

Open daily from 13:00 to 19:00, the tavern is considered the best lunch spot in Mykonos. It is recommended to queue at the door half an hour (or an hour to secure) before the opening time to find a seat.. Since I’m not that much of a gourmet, I didn’t bother, but if you say “I chase the flavor anywhere”, try it.

Panormos Beach

A beach with beautiful sea and sand, preferred by those who want to hang out quietly. Since it is far from the entertainment center and the tourist crowd on the island, its prices are also more affordable.

Agios Stefanos Beach

Agios Stefanos beach, located in what we can call the northwest, is located near the port of Mykonos. Since the north area is quiet and the west area is the center, this beach in the northwest is frequently preferred by those who want to spend a quiet day without being too far from the center of Mykonos.

Mykonos beaches near the port are generally quiet.

Places to Visit in Mykonos

Since we have finished the beaches and entertainment venues of Mykonos, there are places to visit next.

windmills, which are considered the symbol of Mykonos, and I mentioned the Little Venice area, for me it is indispensable to see these two in Mykonos trip and spend the sunset there.. For those looking for more attractions, Delos Island and Ano Mera are recommended.

Windmills rank first among places to visit in Mykonos.

Delos Island

I actually had to explore the island by taking the boats to Delos Island, the neighbor of Mykonos, which has an important archaeological and mythological place, but then I gave up when I learned that it was 32 Euros on my own and 50 Euros for the guided tour.. If you like ancient cities and history, you can go, I consoled myself that “at least I went to Athens”

Ano Mera

Ano Mera region, which is located in the middle of Mykonos Island, consists of Greek taverns lined up around a square, and the most famous place is the monastery of Panagia Tourlani.. It may be suitable for those who want to tour a little culturally and then hang out in the tavern.
