My Dubai Travel Route | Dubai – Abu Dhabi – Baku

The idea of traveling to Dubai, the rising city of recent times, is actually not new to me.. Since the beginning of 2016, I usually focus on different destinations outside of Europe.

The story of this route started with a flight ticket discount I caught.. After a sudden decision, under my leadership, three of my close friends and I decided to take our place on this route and we bought our tickets on the same day.

We were free on our travel dates and considering the hot climate in Dubai, 20-24 We chose October 2016. During this period, the weather will be more livable and at the same time we will be able to swim in the beautiful beaches of Dubai.

The biggest surprise on this route is that we actually bought a ticket > It happened with Azerbaijan Airlines‘s transfer to Baku. Our plane will take off from Sabiha Gökçen Airport at 9 am and arrive in Baku at 12 noon.. However, our flight from there to Dubai the next day in the morning.. This gives us the chance to visit a full day of Baku. It’s a good coincidence that this is only valid for departures.

As I mentioned in my previous articles, you can have the chance to visit another city without paying any money by making such arrangements on connecting flights.. Also, things get more exciting when this city is Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, which has developed at least as much as Dubai in recent years.

Then, the Arabian Peninsula, a geography I am not used to, When I examine the city of Dubai, I see the neighboring emirate Abu Dhabi, which we know for its night Formula 1 races, just 120 km away from Dubai.

I adopt the idea of rent a car, taking into account that we will be four people.. In this way, we will be able to travel in Dubai as we wish and easily reach Abu Dhabi.. And I guess I don’t even need to remind you how cheap gas is in the Arab region !

The last thing I need to mention is. For these two countries I will visit, burgundy passport holders must obtain a visa. Azerbaijan gives visa at the door for a small fee. For Dubai, you need to apply at the consulate without the need for an interview. Holders of green, service and diplomatic passports do not need to obtain visas to these two countries on their short trips.

The total distance I will travel on this route 7.200 km

My route in this trip, respectively. It will be as follows;

  • Istanbul – Baku
  • Baku – Dubai
  • Dubai – Abu Dhabi
  • <

  • Abu Dhabi – Dubai
  • Dubai – Baku – Istanbul

As I will mention again, 20-24 October 2016
