Muğla, one of the most beautiful provinces of Turkey, is literally a paradise.. Nature in Muğla offers us a visual feast in every sense.. There are so many places to visit in Muğla, which we still have not visited, that the trip does not end.. Speaking of stones, I didn’t shake it. There is even a fossil field in Muğla..

Mugla Waterfalls: Gifts of Nature

There are waterfalls of all sizes in Muğla but I’m writing the waterfalls to see in Muğla on my list.. These waterfalls I wrote are really worth seeing. If you have time, you should definitely visit these places.

These waterfalls are located in Muğla’s MarmarisKoycegizSeydikemer districts, respectively.. Our favorite of these waterfalls is Turgut Waterfall. 🙂 Let’s get down to the details of these places.

Turgut Waterfall

Turgut Waterfall, which is our favorite waterfall among Muğla Waterfalls, is like a hidden paradise. Turgut Waterfall, where water and forest intertwine, consists of 5 waterfalls in total.. Sweetgum, pines and plane trees have covered the sky here. Turgut Waterfall, which is hidden in nature among the trees, gives people a nice cooling opportunity in the heat of Marmaris with its natural pools.

The temperature of the water in Marmaris Turgut Waterfall can drop to 15-20 degrees in summer.. When we think of the 45-degree heat of Marmaris in the summer, wouldn’t it be delicious to enter this pool? The walking distance (stepped path) of Turgut Waterfall is approximately 1 km.. When you go up the stairs, the waterfalls end and you reach the green paradise you see in the photos below.. There are some businesses at the entrance point of Turgut Waterfall where you can take a tea-coffee break or have breakfast.. If you come to Marmaris, you should definitely add Turgut Waterfall to your list of places to visit.

TURGUT WATERFALL ENTRANCE FEE

Turgut Waterfall ‘s no entry fee. Entries are free. There is also free parking here.. Turgut Waterfall does not have any entry-exit time.. You can come here anytime during the day.

WHERE IS TURGUT WATERFALL?

Distance between Marmaris and Turgut Waterfall is 36 km. Turgut Waterfall is located between Bayır and Turgut Villages in Marmaris.. While the road is asphalt 1 km before the waterfall, the road becomes soil ground for 1 km.. For the location of Turgut Waterfall on the map, you can click here .

Toparlar Waterfall

We have come to the most hidden point of our Muğla waterfalls list. The Toparlar Waterfall in Köyceğiz, which has become more popular lately, is a true hidden paradise.. To go to the waterfall, you must proceed in the direction of Köyceğiz-Muğla road.. There’s a small sign on your right at a fork in the road.. If you miss this place, you have to take a U from ahead and come back the same way, so be slow and careful.. After returning from the crossroads, you will have to park your car and walk the rest of the way.. You dive into the forest on foot and follow the red and white paints on the rocks.. After about 15-20 minutes of walking, you reach the place where the first and big waterfall is.

If you want to swim in the pool that accumulates in front of the waterfall, you have to go down the path here.. This place can be a little crowded. If you do not go down the path and continue, you reach the second smaller waterfall, which is less well-known.. 2nd. If there is no one at the waterfall, this place is like a natural pool allocated to you.. There was no one here when we got lucky 🙂

TOPARLAR WATERFALL ENTRANCE FEE

Koycegiz Toparlar Waterfall is free to enter. Do not forget to bring the necessary equipment for swimming and walking while coming here.

WHERE IS THE TOPARLAR WATERFALL AND TRANSPORTATION

The distance between Koycegiz Toparlar Waterfall is approximately 12 km. Toparlar Waterfall is located on the Köyceğiz – Muğla road.. This place has a sign between there and no. The entrance way of the waterfall is just at the exit of the bridge and the entrance road is on the right when going from Köyceğiz to Muğla.. There is a dirt road after the bend. You have to go slowly to avoid missing the curve.

Gizlikent Waterfall

If we say that Allah has been very generous to Muğla regarding nature. You will understand this very well when you see Gizlikent Waterfall, one of the paradises of Seydikemer district of Muğla.. The waterfall has a very beautiful and somewhat challenging track.. Bring sea shoes as you will be walking on the water on your way here. If you don’t have shoes, you can rent them here.. A legendary waterfall awaits you below to cool off in the heat of Seydikemer.. You have to go down about 300 steps to reach the waterfall.. Then you walk through the water and reach the waterfall.

GIZLIKENT WATERFALL ENTRANCE FEE

Gizlikent Waterfall has no entrance fee. Entry is free. Only 10 TL parking fee is charged. If you eat something at the restaurant here, the parking fee is deducted from your account.

WHERE IS GIZLIKENT WATERFALL?

Gizlikent Waterfall, which is very close to Saklikent Canyon, is a must-see while you’re all the way to the canyon. a place. Although the road is a bit bad, it’s definitely worth going. The location is here.
