LIFETIME RECOMMENDATIONS FOR GOING TO SINGAPORE

In order not to drown in the systematic structure of the country surrounded by rules, those who want to visit the whole island during the transit time, like us, when you travel around Singapore in an incredible but real way, outside Sentosa Island in 24 hours It was necessary to add a few notes.

  • I mentioned that Singapore is one of the most systematic and orderly (ie, rules) countries in the world.. This situation proves itself in every respect.. For example; If you think, on your way here, that you can do a duty-free shopping at the airport so that your cigarettes will be cheaper, I would say forget about this idea right now.. Because; It is forbidden to enter the country with a closed cigarette box.. I’m Turkish, don’t say I’ll pass, alarms are ringing! Let me also mention that a pack of cigarettes costs 13 Singapore Dollars, get well soon.
  • Smoking in the open air is also prohibited while traveling in Singapore. I guess because the air is polluted enough, the country is completely smoke-free.. Streets and some parts of the streets are marked with yellow squares.. If you want to smoke you have to go inside these squares. I don’t recommend drinking outside, I think you wouldn’t love to tell your troubles to a Singlish-speaking police officer.
  • September, the date we were in Singapore, is the worst place to go to Singapore. it was one of the times. The effect of forest fires that occur in Indonesia every year at this time comes to Singapore due to air currents and collapses.. Effects of fires last at least 15 days. We tried, it’s getting hard to even breathe; choose your dates well.

Marina Bay

  • My suggestions for accommodation; Wanderlust in Little India that I experienced and the famous Marina Bay Sands on the marina side. Wanderlust; It is known as an experimental boutique hotel.. Each room is in a separate Pantone code, and the rooms are themed with a song that matches the color tone.. There is also a small mosaic pool in the hotel. If we hadn’t had an early flight to Bali, I would have spent at least half a day here.. Wanderlust is definitely my favorite with its extremely friendly staff.. 135 Singapore Dollars per night, i.e. 280 TL. Our other hotel is Marina Bay Sands, which I described in the previous article. You must have heard of the Marina Bay Sands hotel with its impressive architecture and infinity pool.. It consists of 3 big towers, a big shopping center and a huge casino built for those who love games of chance. we 3. tower 54. We stayed on the 1st floor, when we booked, we asked for rooms overlooking the Gardens by the Bay.. The room is a modern hotel room that we know, but it is clear that we made the right choice regarding the view.. Again, a reminder; In order to swim in the famous infinity pool and swim against the skyscraper view, you must stay at the hotel for at least 1 night.. The shopping center and the gourmet restaurants within the facility are open to everyone.. The price of accommodation for one night at MBS changes periodically; It was about 470 Singapore Dollars (985 TL) on the date we went.. Apart from these two options, Singapore is a hotels paradise. You will surely find the one that suits your heart.

Gardens by the Bay by Marina Bay Sands

  • Don’t be complacent about transportation; subway system is fine. No place is too far apart, grab your subway map and go anywhere you want fast. I strongly recommend Uber as an alternative transportation method.
