Krabi, Sea and Rain

After the ferry disaster I experienced on my way to Koh Tao, I prefer the night ferry, which is both cheaper and sleeper, for my return.. The night ferry is a great dude.

All the beds are lined up on the floor.. no space in between. To my right is a black American, to my left a Thai. Despite my small volume, I’m the type that takes up 80% of the double bed, so I have to be a little careful not to disturb anyone.

Lights turn off, I have to sleep. It’s already morning before I realize what’s going on.. I’m going to Krabi by bus transfer.

Other volunteers staying at the house where I was a cat sitter in Bangkok, Gökhan and Erinda are coming to Krabi on the same dates, although we haven’t made any joint plans.. Erinda has already settled into the room where I will come and stay first.. Of course, it took a while for me to come, I picked up two Canadians who did not have a place to stay, saying I know cheap places, and brought them to the guesthouse.. They also settled in our next room.

As soon as we arrive, we decide to go to the beach at Erinda’s request.. Our Thai friend Jenny will take us to the most quiet and beautiful beaches. We jump on the bikes and hit the road. On the road, I hear the azan for the first time since I came. I knew there were Muslims in the area near the border, but I had not heard of this area.. As we get closer to the Malaysian border, Islam begins to make itself felt.

Jenny brings us to a beach whose name I do not know, where there are only a few tourists other than us.. I’m a little disappointed after Koh Tao. The beach is beautiful but the clarity of the Pacific ocean is not found in the Indian Ocean.. However, at the end of a month, Erinda’s enthusiasm for seeing the sea for the first time infects us all and we start having fun like children.. With each stroke, I feel a little more relaxed, a little more free and free from stress.. Life is hard sometimes!

Seeing the clouds approaching, Jenny suggests going to another beach to escape the rain.. We’re on our way right now. Another great beach but no escape from the rain. While we’re at sea, the first drops begin to fall. We continue to have fun regardless. There is no point in getting out of the sea, the water is warmer than outside.. Then the rain increases and we have to set off.. We’re driving in the rain with motorbikes. We have a long way to go for about half an hour.

We use the expression to get wet to the frost, but we don’t care because we are happy.

Getting wet with the falling raindrops is nice to get rid of the bad feelings and negative experiences you have accumulated in every drop. .. I don’t remember ever feeling so calm at any stage in my life.. It’s nice to get rid of responsibilities!
