WHAT IS ISIC CARD?
Isic card is a card that proves that you are a student internationally.. Being a student is a privilege in the world as it is in Turkey.. If you are going to travel to European countries and if you are a student in Turkey, I strongly recommend you to obtain this card.
Our introduction to ISIC card was when we saw a 50% discount for ISIC card when buying tickets from Blue Star Ferries’ website in Greece.. When the tickets were in Euro and we saw the discount, we suddenly saw a light After doing a little research, we got our card virtually in 3 days and we bought the tickets from Blue Star Ferries with a 50% discount, which costs us 140 Euros in total. enabled us to reduce our travel expenses to hooop 70 Eura. WHERE TO BUY ISIC CARD ?
You can first pay 20 TL (2019 Fee) per person on the internet from ISIC Turkey and then fill out the application form. you can apply. ISIC card can issue open education, formal education and graduate students. There is no age restriction. The validity period of the card is 1 year from the day you receive it.. Cards are issued annually from January 1 to December 31, and if you apply after September, the expiration date will be December 31 of the following year, so if you buy after September 1, 2016, your expiration date will be December 31, 2017. When your card expires, you can renew your card by applying with your current student document as of January 1 every year.. No matter what month of the year you apply, the expiration date will be 31 December and you must renew your card after this date.
NEXT STAGE
ISIC Card officials They will contact you and ask you via e-mail for your student ID card and any photo of your face with a clear face.. They also accept student certificates obtained from e-government.. We couldn’t get it either due to the problem in the e-government system, but thankfully, the authorities processed our application with the photo of our student card.. After sending them via e-mail, the card will be sent to you in a virtual environment within 3 days.. Normally, you can get this card physically, but I don’t think it’s worth dealing with any cargo or transportation.. You can easily use your virtual card with the ISIC card application that you can download to your phone.. Apart from this, you can also make your ISIC card application at the application offices located in Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir or Eskişehir.
