When I went to Russia in 2010, there was no visa problem, but unfortunately, due to the events between the two countries, we now have to get a visa to go to Russia. When you do research on the internet, you come across dozens of sites, but people do not know which ones to trust. Applying directly to the Russian Consulate is not a solution for many, including me. The consulate wants a voucher to be sent from Russia. Screenshot or copy doesn’t work. And I learned that the relevant form should also be filled in Russian. For such reasons, it was inevitable to use an intermediary institution. I sent the necessary documents to the brokerage firm. I got my visa in a week. Recently they said that Russia does not issue a 30-day visa and we applied for a 25-day visa. Incoming visa was 26 days, single entry. As a tourist, it is not possible to apply for more than 30 days. If you want a double entry visa, unfortunately, the fee increases. The documents required for the application with the intermediary institution are as follows;
- A passport valid for at least 6 months from the day you enter Russia
- Biometric photograph of 35x45mm
- Copy of identity card
- Visa Information Form for Russia
When Russia started to apply visa to us, visa fees were between 30-50 dollars on average. Day by day, this price climbed upwards. I gave about 160 dollars for my Russian visa.
