With few days left until Eid al-Fitr, the countdown has begun for the Eid holiday. As you know, since I live in Munich, there is no holiday for me; but I’ll still take leave and take a vacation on the same dates, even a little longer, like 10 days Since the sunny days in Munich are few, I wanted to take a summer vacation to enjoy the sea and the sun to the fullest this year. I decided to visit the popular Greek Islands Mykonos, Santorini and Kos that I couldn’t get into my schedule.
In this article, I will talk about Greek islands trip planning and transportation and accommodation costs in order to inspire those who are considering making a similar program.. Since my wife is coming from Istanbul, based on the prices we paid her on the plane ticket, we will finally find out how much a 10-day Greek Islands holiday for two people will cost, excluding the cost of eating and drinking there.. Let me state from the beginning that these prices are necessary for the situation where we planned the holiday 3 months in advance, it was certain that it would not be the right choice financially to leave the plane and hotel to the last minute for both high season and a holiday holiday.. Although Atlas Global has direct flights from Istanbul to Mykonos, we preferred the Greek Airline Aagean Airlines as its hours and prices are more affordable, the transfer point is Athens (they also offer the connecting versions via Thessaloniki). there is). In Mykonos We will stay 3 nights, we chose an average hotel with a 3-star pool. Since Mykonos Island is famous for its colorful nightlife favored by celebrities and jet setters, I think we will pay more for food and drink here.. Also, especially on Friday and Saturday evenings, we coincided with Mykonos so that we do not miss the crazy parties and nightlife in Mykonos We paid 500 TL for double accommodation per night, breakfast included in the room price.. We take a ferry from Mykonos to Santorini, which is the part of my vacation that I am most curious about.. The cost per person for the 2.5-hour trip on the ferry of Hellenic Seaways is 221 TL.
We will stay in Santorini for 4 nights, but we made an unusual choice here.. As I said, I have always been very curious about Santorini, I wanted to go very much and I always looked at the pictures of the hotel called the infinity pool with caldera view, where the sea and the pool seem to meet with a sigh.. That’s why we chose a luxury hotel with such a pool and view for the first two nights, once or twice a year I allow myself the indulgence of spending too much on something not really necessary.. I used my ‘right’ last year by skydiving in Dubai, so I said this year should be the same For example, those who want to spend their honeymoon in Santorini can choose from these types of hotels, they look really great.

The central Fira district, where Santorini Island is the famous blue-and-white married landscape is happening, here is the hotel where we will stay for the next two nights.. The journey from Santorini to Kos Island takes 4.5 hours with the ferry of Blue Star Ferries, a bit far. The ferry price is more affordable than the Mykonos – Santorini ferry, although the distance is longer; I guess it depends on the popularity of the island and the company.. Price per person is 134 TL.

We will stay for two nights in a two-star hotel in Kos. The hotel with a pool, 100 meters from the sea, costs 155 TL per night for two people, Breakfast is not included in the room price.. As there are not many different flights from Kos Airport, we found it more logical to go to Bodrum instead of having to transfer, from Bodrum to Kos Island. is a trip that can be done even as a day tour, which is preferred by holidaymakers.. The journey takes 20 minutes with the ferry of Yeşil Marmaris company, the fee is 65 TL per person.
We would like to talk to the car rental companies and rent a car in Bodrum and after the Greek Islands, Bodrum Let’s wrap up the holiday with a tour of the beautiful bays, but at this point it’s time to get back to work.. Considering that taxi fares are high and public transportation with suitcases will be uncomfortable in the heat, renting a car from Bodrum would be a cost-effective transportation choice. Those who will stay in Bodrum can make such a choice.
The return flight is with Turkish Airlines as Bodrum Milas Airport (BJV) – Istanbul Atatürk (IST) and the price is 289 TL.

Santorini – Kos ferry: (134 * 2) = 268 TL

Our total cost is 5268 TL.
