If you want to go abroad with a private car, the essential things you need to do are as follows:
1- Green Insurance: Without this type of insurance There’s no way you can cross the border. Among the required documents are mandatory. You can get it from any insurance agency.. I paid 52.50 Euros for a 15-day trip in the summer of 2017 and bought that green paper that I tucked in between the license of the car.. If your plan is to spend the whole summer in Greece or do not go to Bulgaria to eat a lot of meat, you can take this insurance for a longer period, for example, annually, and be more affordable for all your other trips.
2- International Driving License:
strong> Before there were new licenses, there were more procedural ways of doing this. Now the process is very easy. What do you get if you have a driver’s license after 2016?. If you don’t, you will go to the police department in your city to renew it by making a reservation online.. Before you go, you pay a fee of 15 TL to the bank, a photograph and a health report are required.. Then your driver’s license is delivered to your address.. 3- Adding International Coverage to Your Insurance: This is actually up to your preference.. Nobody asks you, ‘Woah, where? He does not say, ‘Do you have a foreign collateral in your insurance?’. However, in order to prevent any mishaps that may happen to me, I have expanded my insurance for possible risks by specifying the countries I will go to for a figure of 200 TL for 15 days.
4- Travel Health Insurance: This item is included in every trip. It is up to you, as well as for this trip you will go abroad by car.. In my opinion, travel health insurance, which should be made in every trip, covers many things such as the transportation of the body in cases such as an accident, illness, health problems, medication costs and even death, God forbid, that you may experience abroad.. I have heard of people who paid close to 30 thousand TL in Europe when their arm was broken because they did not do this.. Considering that the journey you will take is a car journey, it has become one of my indispensable items.. It costs around 11 Euros per person for 15 days.
