THINGS TO VISIT IN FETHIYE CENTER
Fethiye Kordon
Fethiye Kordon is one of the liveliest spots of the city, located in the center and moving in the cool of the evening.. This is the address in Fethiye for those who walk their dogs, bike rides and walkers.. If you want to eat delicious food or have a drink in a beautiful view of the sun, there are nice restaurants and cafes along the promenade.. It is a nice option to take a walk here at the end of your day in the center of Fethiye.

Paspatur Bazaar
Where to visit in Fethiye center One of the most well-known answers is Paspatur Çarşısı. The area where the bazaar is located is considered to be one of the oldest settlements in Fethiye. Paspatur Bazaar consists of a total of 5 streets and is located between Fethiye Marina and Çarşı Caddesi.. In Paspatur Bazaar, old houses with bay windows that have been restored to their original form over time make the atmosphere even more beautiful.. Paspatur, an authentic bazaar, has jewelers, souvenir shops, spice shops, carpet makers and entertainment venues.. In addition, Paspatur Mosque, built by the Ottomans in 1781, is located in this bazaar.. During the summer, local and foreign tourists prefer this place for nightlife and entertainment.
Paspatur Bazaar’s name has a little legend.. This legend got its name from the Paspatur water in the bazaar, and those who come to Fethiye and drink this water once, will come to Fethiye at least once more.. Fethiye Museum
Whatever comes to mind when Fethiye is mentioned Although there are many holidays, sea, sand and sun, Fethiye is in a special place in terms of history and culture.. Amintas Rock Tomb/Telmessos Ancient City
One of the places to visit in Fethiye center is the Amintas Rock Tomb. I think that the Lycians know very well where to make graves.. The view of these rock tombs is magnificent. Amintas Rock Tombs also known as Fethiye king tombs. These tombs add a mystical atmosphere to Fethiye. You raise your head in the city center, a historical heritage. an exquisite situation. You have to climb the stairs to go inside the royal tombs.
After you come to the Rock Tombs, you get very angry with the cannibals and treasure hunters who paint the walls and scratch their names on the walls that harm the historical culture here.. One really feels sorry for what has been done to this historical heritage.

Fethiye Castle & Lovers Hill
A beautiful view awaits you in the morning and in the evening. If you want to watch Fethiye from above, you can come here. Fethiye Castle is also where Fethiye Lovers Hill is located.. As you climb towards the castle, you see all the splendor of the Amintas Rock Tombs.. The history of the castle is not known very much, but it is known that the Rhodesians repaired this castle.
You can also go to Fethiye Castle with a 1-2 hour walk by following the street where the Paspatur Market is located.. Only small ruins remain from Fethiye Castle.. Add this place to the list to see the beautiful view of Fethiye.

Calis Beach
Calis Beach , one of the most popular beaches of Fethiye. The fact that it is in the center and people can go here easily makes this place popular.. Calis Beach has a very long beach.. Although the beach is crowded, this situation does not stand out much. If you ask me, I do not find the beaches in the city centers very pleasant in terms of cleanliness, so I do not prefer to swim here.. The sea of Calis is stony and quite wavy in the afternoon.
The best thing to do in Calis Beach is to watch the sunset. There is also a bird sanctuary on Calis Beach.. There are nearly 200 birds in total.. If you are interested, you may want to visit.
There are sun loungers, umbrella rental, shower and toilet facilities on the beach.. In addition, cafes and restaurants serve in terms of eating and drinking.

Knight Island
There is an island you see when you look across Fethiye from the coast. Hah, that island is the Island of the Knights.. Officially located in a position protecting Fethiye Harbor. The first name of the island was Eski Meğri.. Since knights lived on the island in the past, its name was changed to Knight Island.. Knight Island is an inhabited island. Although it is a bit expensive, there are restaurants and cafes.. There are also hotels for vacations.
The Knight Island is across from the Çalış Beach, you can go to the island by boat from here, or if you are a good swimmer, you can swim to the island.
