15 composers in Eurovision Turkey National Qualifiers competed to be the song that will represent Turkey in the Eurovision Song Contest by being rated by the votes of the public.
İzel, Oya-Bora, Çelik, Sertab Erener, Ercan Singers such as Saatçi, Ufuk Yıldırım, Reyhan Karaca, Seden Gürel, who accomplished important things during the boom years of Turkish Pop Music, competed against each other in the 1990 national qualifiers.. The person who emerged victorious from this competition was Kayahan.. Kayahan won the right to represent Turkey in the 1990 Eurovision Song Contest with his song “Gözlerin Hapsindeyim”.
The Eurovision Song Contest held in Zagreb, Yugoslavia in 1990, could not go beyond the ordinary for Turkey.
