In Which Season to Visit Dubai?
For this land that is incredibly hot in summer the most ideal holiday time is October – April. Before we started living in Dubai, we visited it in April and May, when we came as tourists, and the weather was 40 degrees.. Come on, think about 55 degrees in summer. Of course, it is relatively expensive as the winter months are high season times.. As a result, I would say you should take a look at the spring and autumn months for your Dubai trip.
If you happen to visit the city, especially during discount periods, you can get very pleasant shopping opportunities.. But under normal conditions, Dubai is an expensive place for shopping, as it is in everything else.
I should mention that it is a very suitable location for traveling with children.
Dubai Flight Ticket Transportation Costs What is it?
It takes 4.5 hours between Istanbul and Dubai. Airfares are usually cheapest with FlyDubai and Pegasus airlines. You can even find a round trip ticket for 900 TL per person.. I bought a ticket for 600 TL on my first trip, and for 1100 TL on my second trip, even though I planned it last minute.. Of course, even though these numbers have increased over the years, there are still flights that I have caught for 900 TL with a campaign ticket.
If you are flying with Pegasus or Air Arabia You can come across more affordable tickets to Sharjah airport. When I come across tickets like this, I prefer the side emirate Sharjah instead of Dubai’s airport DXB.. A taxi from Sharjah to the marina area costs 130 – 150 Dirhams, for DXB this figure is 80 – 90. You can compare the flight ticket difference with a taxi and decide.
Taxi is the only way to reach Dubai from Sharjah.. There is also a subway from DXB to the city, but you have to coincide with the daylight hours when it is in use because it does not work 24 hours.
Dubai Visa
There is a visa to Dubai, but 100 – Anyone can get it after giving 120 USD. So it’s not a visa that will bother you or not.. There are several options for obtaining this visa, I have explained them in my article.. How to Get Dubai Visa click for my article and mail me as I mentioned about this subject.
How Many Days to Visit Dubai?
The ideal is to have 4 full days to visit this city. On my second visit to Dubai as a tourist, I stayed for 1 week, still I was not bored, I increased the sea-pool part of my trip.
What to Do in Dubai?
- Desert Safari
- Viewing a cityscape from Burj Khalifa
- Watching a water show with Indian music at Dubai Mall
- Swapping against Burj Al Arab, taking a photo
- Eating by the water at Souk Medinat Jumeirah
- Skydiving with Palm Island view
- Smoking Shisha (hookah)
- Visiting small palace shopping malls that cannot be called a mall, try nice restaurants
A Few Information About Dubai
The UAE is governed by a parliamentary monarchy. Although Abu Dhabi is the capital of the United Arab Emirates, Dubai is more popular thanks to tourism.. The Sheikhs at the head of the 7 Emirate are actually cousins, that is, members of the same family. The Sheikh of Abu Dhabi is the person at the top hierarchically as the emirate is the capital.. After that comes the Sheikh of Dubai.. I especially want to point out that people love their Sheikh very much.
Dubai is an amazing safe city. People living there sleep without locking their doors at night.. The crime rate is almost non-existent, of course, the fact that there is sharia may also have an effect on this.. The rules are followed to the fullest as no one can afford to lose their work visa.
One hour ahead of us in Dubai time zone.
Don’t forget to take a converter with you as British sockets are used. Otherwise, they are mostly helpful at the hotel.
Friday – Saturday holidays in the Arab Emirates. Beaches get very crowded these days.
Currency is the Dirham (AED).
Life in Dubai, Immigrants, Dress Code
Everyone living in Dubai is mostly Expat.. See: ME
These immigrants come from countries such as Pakistan, India, work with cheap labor and send their earnings to their countries and families; and American and European high-status white-collar workers who work very well and live in luxury.. The income distribution gap is extreme.
The UAE’s own citizens are called Emirati. Just because you’ve lived in the Emirates for years or married a local doesn’t make you Emirati.. The concept of citizenship is protected very seriously. Emiratis are seriously extremely wealthy, citizens receiving tax support from the state. All companies are required to employ Emiratis, but it’s like they don’t have to go to work.
Don’t worry about what I wear, of course clothing is not involved at all
in order to keep them here where so many immigrant Americans and Europeans live. strong>. Only indoor areas are very cold due to excessive air conditioning, so bring a thin jacket or cardigan with you. When you watch the photos and stories on my Instagram account, you will already see how comfortable I am living there.
Transportation from Dubai Airport to the City (DXB)
<
Airport – City Center costs AED 70 – 100 by taxi. It’s a bit expensive, but you go 45 km.. As I said, you can also reach the city center by metro, but remember that the metro does not run after 12 pm.
Dubai City Transportation
Taxi is cheap. But since Dubai is a very expensive city, taxi prices seem relatively cheap in my opinion.. You can still use the metro to get anywhere.. I will explain in detail, it is much cheaper. However, in cases where you will not use the subway, you can use Careem and Uber applications for urban transportation.. Especially Careem is very common in Dubai. Download the application to your phone and define your credit card, and when you call a car by making Careem, you can both travel in more luxurious vehicles and see in advance how much it will cost to your destination.
In Urban Transportation, as I mentioned, you can use a taxi.. Taxis start from 5 AED and you pay a minimum of 12 AED. So even if it costs 10 AED, you have to pay 12. Ideal for short distances, we can say cheap.
Our preference is to use the subway whenever possible while traveling.. You can pay 20 AED and get a Platinum NOL card. 6 AED of this is taken for the card, the remaining 19 AED is your balance.. You can load from the machines as your balance runs out.. The best part is that you can reach 7.5 AED by metro on your return from the airport.. We had to use Terminal 2 as we were traveling with FlyDubai. For this reason, we got off at Terminal 1 by metro and transferred to Terminal 2 by bus.. Metro only goes to Terminal 1 and Terminal 3.
The city is divided into 7 districts. The transportation fee to the furthest area is AED 7.5, which is the airport fee.. Normally you pay 3 or 5 AED for one way transportation. Free transfer within half an hour. You can have your card read both at the entrance and the exit of the metro.. Accordingly, the fare deducts from you as much as the distance you travel.
In addition to the normal order in which everyone rides together, men and women, in transportation by subway, there are also 1-2 separate flights that only women and children can ride. there is a wagon. Men are careful not to pass through here, there is already a penalty if they get on.
There are also luxury wagons for Gold Card holders.. These are none of our business
If you want to swim in the Jumeirah Beach Residence (JBR) area, I would say swim at those beautiful public beaches, when you get off at the Marina (Damac) stop, you can transfer to JBR 1 or JBR 2 stops by using the tram.. Your cards are also here.
Dubai Accommodation Hotel Recommendation
Atana Hotel : Tecom region (the region where Oracle, Microsoft, IBM companies are located)
Hotels in Dubai are usually expensive and luxurious. If you are one of those who are constantly traveling and looking for maximum comfort and minimum cost, this hotel is for you.. 4-star, but makes stones for our country’s 5-stars. We paid a total of 800 TL for 2 people for 3 nights on our first trip.. You see a smaller amount on Booking, but when you say tax or something at the hotel, the number increases a little.. The hotel has a shuttle service to Emirates Mall, Jumeirah Beach and the subway (5 minutes from the subway but it’s hot).. For this reason, transportation is also very easy.. 2 metro stops to Dubai Marina. On our second trip, we stayed for 1 week and paid 2600 TL.
When we came to move to Dubai, we stayed at the Premier Inn Ibn Battuta, which is connected to Ibn Battuta Mall during the house search process.. It was much more advantageous in terms of price and you are at the foot of the metro station.
If you want your hotel to be on the seafront and you don’t have any difficulties in terms of price, you can look at the hotels in the Jumeirah Beach Residence area, which is called JBR.
Nightlife and Alcohol in Dubai is also among the most frequently asked questions. It is forbidden to drink alcohol on the street.. You can mostly hang out on hotel roofs and certain nightclubs.. On our first trip, we went to the Belgian Beer Cafe located in the Grand Millennium next to our hotel.. it was very nice place. Same with Medinat Jumeirah. It’s a recommendation.. You can see the places I’ve been in the stories I pinned under the name mydubai in my Instagram account.
Is Dubai Expensive? Things To Do To Make Your Dubai Trip Cheap!
Dubai is unfortunately expensive, and because of the hot weather in the city you hang out in closed places or go to the bars in the hotels to get alcohol, you always do activities based on spending money.. But I have great suggestions for you to make this trip cheap! Entertainer and Zomato Gold!
These two apps are the most frequently used apps by immigrants living in Dubai.. To apply the basic logic, to take advantage of the logic of buying 1 get 1 for meals, buy 2 for drinks at facilities such as contracted hotels and restaurants by paying a certain fee per year.. We were able to use the 14-day trial version of the app for free while we were traveling.. I hope there will be such a promotion during your travel period, don’t miss it.
Even if there is no promotion, Zomato Gold’s membership fee is very affordable, so you should buy this for your trip and eat legendary meals at legendary places and save money for the application. I suggest you take it out for dinner and also provide a solid budget to your budget.. If you become a member with the code UMURCA, you will receive a discount, for your information

DUBAI TRAVEL TOUR
In order to give you an idea, I share with you the route we took on our first trip, day by day.. The whole article is full of suggestions.. You make the distribution according to your time!
DAY 1:
Jumeirah Beach : With the hotel’s service, we found ourselves at this public beach with clean water in the morning.. This is the area of villas.. There are not many skyscrapers behind you. You see the Burj Al Arab and swim in the sea. You can rent sunbeds and umbrellas here.. We rented an umbrella for AED 50. If you get hungry there are many cafes nearby. There is also Kite Beach near here, which is famous.
Burj Al Arab: As everyone knows The world’s first 7 star hotel. It even asks for a reservation. There are Versace / Hermes perfumes in the sinks. That’s it!
Even if you don’t make a sea plan, Dubai Miracle Garden. Traveling is not a place that will never end, but a complete photographic visual feast. Entrance 45 Dirhams, I think it’s worth going.
Dubai The Mall: This is not just a mall, let’s agree on that first. I love this place, which has an aquarium where sharks can swim, which is open to the public, golf carts on the floors, and great restaurants and shops, so I went two days in a row. .
Texas Roadhouse, The Cheesecake Factory (Oreo cheesecake), Zaytoni (Lebanese & Armenian cuisine – Kebab Orfaly and Kebab Halabi (you know, Urfa and Aleppo kebabs, but very good) are the restaurants I recommend.
The bookstore called Kinokuniya on the last floor of the shopping mall is a real paradise.. It is huge and you can find everything you are looking for in it.
The Dubai Fountain: The world’s largest fountain with 270 meters in Burj Dubai Lake throws water 150 meters high. You watch the world’s highest gushing water show every 30 minutes accompanied by Indian music.. Moreover, this takes place right in front of the world’s tallest building, the Burj Khalifa.. The person who designed this show is also the architect of the water show in Las Vegas.
There is Souk Al Bahar at the end of the bridge where you watch the water show. You can visit this bazaar or smoke hookah in the cafes right next to it.. Lebanese and Traditional coffee are recommended at Zahr El Laymoun. Coffees are served with a coffee pot.
Burj Khalifa: The tallest building in the world with 828 meters and 160 floors. The building is visible from all over the city. You can go up to the 125th floor and watch the view of Dubai, and feel how small you are, with a cost of 400 AED, that is, around 300 TL. The Atmosphere Restaurant located on the 122nd floor can be a good option for those who want to have a more enjoyable time.
Dubai Marina: It’s hard not to be impressed! I don’t think Dubai’s marina can be compared to any other marina.. Walking among those majestic, illuminated buildings, sitting in marina cafes and smoking a hookah is a must-experience.. If you wish, you can usually have a drink on the roofs of our illuminated buildings.. I especially prefer Buddha Bar!
DAY 2:
Palm Jumeirah: Welcome to the palm-shaped artificial island. Especially in the Skydiving photos, you must have seen the photo of this island taken from above.. There are villas of Hollywood stars and very luxurious hotels on the branches of the palm.. You can also visit these hotels.. For example; Atlantis Hotel where you can have fun in the aquapark inside. There are passages under the sea to navigate among the palm branches. Seriously, the island is calm, quiet, peaceful.
In this artificial Palm Island, restaurants named Aji and Breeze Beach Grill I had a great time. Aji’s cocktails are legendary!
Jumeirah Beach Residence (JBR): By tram from Dubai Marina, JBR 1 and JBR 2′ you can go to. JBR 2 (The Beach) is recommended. The places are nice too.. Sunbeds and umbrellas are a bit more expensive here. The specialty of this sea is that you can take the skyscrapers behind you and enjoy the beach.
Desert Safari: Dubai’s event Desert Safari. QUIET but don’t come back without doing it. it was a great experience. For a safe and wonderful desert safari experience, just send me an e-mail. I will direct you
Address: [email protected]
The tour lasts from 16:00 to 21:30. Your driver will pick you up from your hotel and take you to the desert after about 50 minutes.. Stopping at a market on the way before reaching the desert. Here you can buy water, food, souvenirs or a scarf to wrap around your head.. But make sure to bargain.. Then you wait for other groups joining the tour at the assembly point.. In the meantime, the air pressure of the tires of the vehicles is reduced according to the sand and you take pictures.. Desert safari begins when all our 4×4 jeeps are ready. Going down the dunes with a 90 degree jeep and thinking that it will roll is very action-packed, believe me
You come to the campsite after safari. There are activities included in your price, such as henna making, hookah smoking, barbecue for food, non-alcoholic drinks (there is no Coca Cola, you can’t find it anywhere in Dubai), watching a belly dancer show, camel tour.. If you wish, you can also experience adrenaline in the desert sand by renting an ATV.
By the way, I can hear you say what to wear.. Desert sand will be hot when you first go but very cool after sunset. Make sure you have a jacket with you, but I recommend you go in sandals and shorts mode and walk barefoot on the sand.
DAY 3:
Emirates Mall: You can take the subway directly to the Mall of Emirates stop and visit this mall.. I think Dubai Mall is much, much better. But in this, they built a ski center called “Ski Dubai”.. Men are longing for the cold!
Souk Al Medinat: You can take the 81 bus in front of the Mall of Emirates and get off directly in Medinat for 3 AED. This is a Grand Bazaar market. There is a beautiful view of Burj Al Arab. Nice restaurants by the water. Bus number 8 goes to JBR from a stop nearby, so if you want to go to the sea from here, bear in mind.
Dine here at Trader Vics you can eat. His Tiki Puka Puka is famous. When you arrive in Medinat, Al Qasr hotel can be visited with the excuse of drinking coffee.
Deira: Grand Bazaar. If you want to see the old city, you can reach by metro.. There are many places to visit in Old Dubai, too.. Do not miss Dubai Museum and Al Seef.
Let’s come to the end of our travel article. Dubai is beautiful. I think everyone should go at least once. So, is it possible to go more than once? There are so many British, American, European Expats living in this land and they are very happy.. Could Dubai be a candidate to be one of our homes on earth? Conceivable. Why not?
