Denizli Travel Guide

Maybe most of you have been to “Denizli”, the land of historical natural beauties, but in your opinion, have you discovered all the things that are indispensable and should not be returned without being done? This article is a compressed Denizli Travel Guide that can fit in one day. After reading this all you have to do is buy tickets for the weekend and hit the road. If you still do not plan a weekend trip to Denizli, it is your loss, let me tell you in advance.

An interesting information at the beginning: According to rumors Denizli’s name comes from Domuzlu. Pigs used to live on this piece of rock, which used to be an earthquake zone and floated on hot water.. Over time, there has been a transition from Domuzlu to Denizli.

Transportation: Visitors within close range can already travel by car. So, what will those who set out for a weekend getaway from Istanbul like us do? Address: Denizli Çardak Airport, which was used only as a military airport and later opened to civilian flights. There are 3-4 flights a day with THY.. Friday evening departure and Sunday evening return is again the sweetest
. But in case you go on a Saturday evening with a little price, you will have enough time to implement our plan.

Airport Transportation: Denizli Çardak Airport to the city center You can use the bus for transportation or you can rent a private car if you are traveling with 2-3 people.. Since we were 3 people, we preferred to rent an airport taxi.. So we were able to go as far as our house.. Price is 30 TL per person. Maximum 3 people can get in the car, even if you go alone, you share the car with others.. You can arrange an airport taxi at 537 305 4545. Since the distance from the airport to the city center is 70 km, it takes a little bit, but you will have to endure it, too.

Intra-City Transportation: By bus to everywhere in Denizli there is transportation. But my time is short, if you don’t want to waste your time, I suggest you rent a car.. Because even though the distances are not very far, the distances vary between half an hour and 40 minutes by car.

Accommodation: We are guests at the house of a local friend of Denizli. We did not stay at the hotel as we went with the quota. Click here for your hotel preferences.
