The weather in this region is mild throughout the year, but the best time to travel is between April and October.. How to get to COTE D’AZUR?
By Airplane: You can use SkyScanner, a website where you can compare cheap tickets for Nice, which we recommend as the starting point for this tour. In addition, by taking advantage of early reservation with Pegasus airlines, you can catch a direct flight from Istanbul to Nice, which will take only 2.5 hours, at a very affordable price.
By Train: If you are already within the borders of France and you are traveling to the Cote d’Azur. French trains will be a very affordable and convenient solution.. For train times, routes and ticket prices, you should check RATP or SNCF for high speed TGV trains.

The most famous and touristic cities of this region are Cannes, Nice, St.. Tropez and Monaco. However, you should also visit the small and cute villages among these cities.. COTE D’AZUR Sightseeing Tour
1. DAY: Nice city exploration
We recommend you to spend a day in Nice’s old city center (Vieille Ville). After seeing the museums, touristic places and monuments in this city on the first day, you can take a walk along the coast called Promenade des Anglais, sunbathe on its stony beaches on a sunny day and enjoy the sea, go to Castle Hill to watch the bird’s eye view of the city, taste local dishes. We recommend that you spend as much time as possible in the squares and streets and observe the local life.. If you wish, you can even take a daily tour to Entrevaux with the Train des Pignes trains departing from Gar de Provence for 20-25 euros.

2. DAY: Nice-Monaco Journey
The distance between Nice and Monaco is approximately 20 km, and it takes 40 minutes to reach Monaco from Nice if you continue non-stop.. We recommend you to extend the total road for approximately 7 km by taking short breaks on the way and visiting Villefranche-sur-Mer and Eze Village.. You should choose the coastline for this trip, as your eyes will be dazzled by this unique panoramic view.

Monaco, although it is quite small, it is a full city. In Monaco, which is a perfect destination for day trips, you can walk to the Place du Palais and reach the Princely Palace and the perfect city view.. After that, you should definitely see Monte-Carlo after a 2-hour walk through the Saint Martin Gardens gardens.. Indeed, you can go shopping in the stores of very expensive boutiques and world-famous brands, but you can also console yourself by just looking at the windows.. For those who cannot walk, we recommend that they use the small touristic trains that travel on the same route.

3. DAY: Nice-Cannes Journey
The distance between Nice and Cannes is approximately 32 km. You can reach Cannes from Nice in 1 hour without stopping, but of course we recommend you to take short breaks in St-Paul-de-Vence and Antibes, which are the cities you should see on the way.

In Cannes, you can walk along La Croisette, visit the luxury shops with the magnificent sea view, sit in a cafe of your choice and take a short break while observing the surroundings.. On the way, you can join the tours organized to the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès, that is, the place where the magnificent Cannes Film Festivals are held, and walk on the red carpet.. You should visit the interesting shops in the narrow streets leading to Le Suquet, where the Cannes cityscape is most beautiful.

4. DAY: Discover beyond Cannes..
Depending on your travel speed, vacation duration, budget and preference, the optional destination we will suggest on the fourth day and after is approximately 130 km. Saint Raphael, Saint Tropez and finally Hyeres.

Cote d’ Azur Travel Notes and Suggestions:
- If 4. If you prefer to continue to Hyeres after the day, we recommend that you buy your return ticket from Marsiya.. Since Hyeres is located 150 km from Nice and 80 km from Marseille, returning to Marseille will be more affordable.
- Try to learn a little French before you go on this trip..
