Gölcük Nature Park is 13 km from the center of Bolu, located in the Western Black Sea Region; It takes 20-25 minutes to reach the park from the center.. If we give an example from big cities close to Bolu;

HOW TO GET TO GÖLCÜK NATURE PARK
The road of Gölcük Nature Park, which is 20 minutes from the city center, is compared to other national parks in Bolu pretty neat. Since the road is asphalt, you can reach it by any vehicle.. There is also a large car park at the entrance of the park that provides free service.
#1 From Istanbul to Bolu Gölcük Nature Park Transportation:
Follow the Gebze and Sapanca route via the Ring Road after exiting Istanbul. You reach Bolu after Elmalık, Yumrukaya and Dağkent by continuing on the same route until the Bolu exit on the E80 road.. After passing the Bolu Amusement Park, you can reach the park by following the D160 road and following the signs on Kaplıca Caddesi.
#2 Ankara’ Getting to Bolu Gölcük Nature Park from:
The first destination from Susuz is Ankara Ring Road via Talatpaşa Boulevard, Hippodrome Street and Istanbul Road. It is necessary to follow the O4 route to go to Bolu via the E89.. After sailing past Yeniçağa and Bürnük, you will turn to Bolu road and enter the D100 highway.. This road will take you first to Bolu and then to Gölcük Nature Park via Karacasu.
#3 Eskişehir’ Getting to Bolu Gölcük Nature Park from:
You will connect to the D140 road via the Sarıcakaya – Nallıhan road and enter the Bolu Seben road.. You can reach Bolu by following the Kıbrısçık road, which you will then enter, and from there, following the signs, you can reach the park.

The proximity of Gölcük Nature Park to the center and its ease of transportation are other advantages. Within the nature park, which provides a highly organized service; There are the State Guest House, restaurant, souvenir huts, picnic areas and walking tracks, which form the iconic view of this place.. Gölcük Nature Park, which is usually crowded with day trips and picnickers, can be called a typical recreation area; If you come early and in the winter season, you can visit the park in a very quiet environment..
Hiking and Trekking in Gölcük Nature Park
Gölcük Nature Park You can use the track in the park for walking in. The track continues around the lake and its length is approximately 1,300 meters.. WHEN TO GO TO GÖLCÜK NATURE PARK
Gölcük Nature Park is indeed one of the seasonless places.. With its lush nature in spring and summer, it is beautiful when covered with snow in winter.. As an all-season blog, we don’t think it would be fair to make a comparison in terms of looks.. The best; Look at the photos and decide for yourself.
Let’s also give a warning; Since Gölcük Nature Park is very close to the center, it can be very crowded in hot months.. In times like these, definitely come here early.. We do not want you to meet the park in this way, especially as the picnickers switch to barbecue mode, as everywhere is covered with smoke.. Another way to visit Gölcük in peace is to come here when it is snowy, that is, in winter!
WINTER AT GÖLCÜK NATURE PARK
Let’s not generalize by saying it’s winter, but when Gölcük Nature Park is covered with snow, it really looks like a painting.. Especially the road and park views, where the tree branches are covered with fluffy snow lumps, suit this place very, very well.. The only problem of the winter season; It is not very suitable for photographing as the fog settles from time to time.. At this point, too, some luck is needed; According to the information we received, the fog could collapse and rise in an instant..

PICNIC IN GOLCUK NATURE PARK
Gölcük Nature Park is one of Bolu’s most popular recreation areas.. Picnic is one of the main activities of this place.. There are many wooden tables and benches in the park area, so it is very comfortable to have a picnic with the food you bring from outside.. The only problem; Allowing barbecue where it is forbidden to light a fire, and therefore reaching a level that cannot be seen by the eyes of the barbecue smoke that disperses after a while. In spring and summer, a trip to Gölcük Nature Park turns into a real torture because of this barbecue issue.. Smell on the one hand, smoke on the other; We don’t know if such a thing is really necessary.. In our opinion, this barbecue subject does not suit Gölcük Nature Park at all.
FOOD AND DRINK AT GÖLCÜK NATURE PARK

Gazelle Restaurant with a lake view in the park provides a very good service compared to similar nature park restaurants.. Prices are slightly above average, breakfast and food options are delicious. Especially, it is a preferred place for breakfast.. We recommend.
ACCOMMODATION IN GÖLCÜK NATURE PARK
We are Gölcük’ e usually on the way back to our Bolu route or we go for a day. We have not experienced accommodation in Gölcük yet, but Gölcük Country Houses located in the park area can be evaluated for accommodation.. If you like bungalow type houses, keep this in mind; however, the bungalow hotels in Bolu unfortunately lag behind in terms of service.. Especially in winter, rooms can be cold, electricity can be cut off.. Based on our previous Yedigöller bungalow stay, it makes the most sense to go without expecting comfort and service.
CAMPING AT GÖLCÜK NATURE PARK

Camping and fires are prohibited in Gölcük National Park. Aladag Youth Camp is one of the closest places to camp here.. It is located 25 minutes away from Gölcük Nature Park..
