About 2 hours after exiting Mostar We reach the popular touristic destination of recent years for the discovery of Places to Visit in Dubrovnik, we settle in our 3+1 apartment in Orchieda Apartments’. Since we are a family of 4 and a 4-bed hotel room is rarely available, we usually stay in 1+1 or 2+1 apartments instead of hotels during our trip.. We make our apartment or hotel reservations from booking.com before we travel.

Now that we have found the place to stay, now we are in the city. time to explore… When we get to the center with our car, the first thing that fascinates us is the high parking fees 🙂

DUBROVNIK TRAVEL GUIDE

Dubrovnikin the whole event is Medieval within the broad fortress walls of the port, with a very well preserved history owning a city. Most of the Places to Visit in Dubrovnik, restaurants, shops, galleries and similar places are here.

Living space is very limited in the modern part outside the castle.. Even in winter, this area looks like an abandoned summer cottage town.. We can’t find a place other than three or five cafe bars where local young people hang out, and one or two secluded restaurants that are almost empty.. Although the historical part is visually beautiful, it has the same consistency in terms of density.. From TripAdvisor we find a few of the restaurants I work and come to, but most of them have a closed until summer sign on their door.. It is not difficult to predict that Dubrovnik will be much more active in summer, but it surprises us that it is so deserted in winter.. For the first time during our trip, we feel We came here at the wrong time’. Let’s sleep ‘Enjoy the silence’ mode, we wander the empty streets with a calm mood… The next morning…

Adriatic We wake up in our apartment with a view and have a pleasant breakfast with fried sausage and egg.. We find peace here, probably because we did a minimum of 400 km a day during the 3 days we traveled here.. He walks a little, takes a coffee break, walks a little more, walks a little more, and we have a nice pizza and soft and crispy, squid-like squidsNext morning…

It’s time to say goodbye to Dubrovnik…
