THE PLACES TO GO TO THE SEA IN AYVALIK
There are many beaches in Ayvalık where you can go to swim.. Some of them are sandy, some stony, some are long, some are smaller beaches.. For a more organized day, you can choose the beaches, if you are ready and want to listen to your head, you can choose the bays.
#1 Duba Beach:
Cunda Island from Ayvalık’ A small municipal beach that you can see on the right as you pass by. It is frequently preferred because it is very central and easily accessible; but it gets very crowded in the season. Since it is the municipality’s business, it provides services at reasonable numbers, but since it is on the roadside, it obviously did not open us up very much.
#2 Badavut Beach:
With the suggestion of Stairway, where we stayed during our trip to Ayvalık. Badavut beach, which we went to, has the clearest coast we have seen in Ayvalık.. It is very quiet especially when you go in the early hours; However, since the beach is pure sand, we can say that it suddenly gets crowded by noon.. Then you are likely to not be very pleased.. Since the bottom of the sea is sandy and shallow, it is often preferred by families with children.. There are many businesses around Badavut beach; usually consists of shabby places. If you are going during the season, you can call ahead and reserve a sunbed.. In some periods, it was said that there were plenty of bees, but we did not find them.
#3 Şirinkent Sports Club:
Here is our favorite place to swim in Ayvalık! This beach, which belongs to Şirinkent Sports Club, is preferred by the members of the club and those coming from the surrounding sites.. It is a very decent place as it is entered with the membership system and reference; Depending on the occupancy rate, they also receive visitors from outside.. You can enter the sea from the pier, the water is warmer than Ayvalık.. This is our favorite place in Ayvalık because of the very clear coast of Şirinkent, the water temperature and the service of the sports club.. Various sports activities and games are also held within the scope of the club, there are beachvolley fields.
#4 Çamlık Bay, Paşalimanı:
Another beach in Ayvalık operated by the municipality. Pasalimani in Camlik Bay. The view is beautiful, the sea is not spectacular, but it can be given a chance.. Since the business is under the control of the municipality, the prices are reasonable.. If you are lucky, you can catch a very good sunset here.
#5 Ortunc Bay:
Ortunc Bay on the Cunda side is another favorite in Ayvalık.. Since it is within the borders of the national park, there is no public beach in Ortunç; Therefore, you can take advantage of the hotel’s beach in this bay or the camping areas around it to swim.. It can be entered either from the pier or from the rocks.
Ada Camping in Ortunç Bay is the most preferred establishment of this area.. Even if you are not camping, it is possible to pay the entrance fee and use the establishment.. However, if you are going to Ayvalık by car, our recommendation is to use the picnic area next to Ada Camping.. Of course, since there is no business in this area, you need to take your table, chair, food and beverage with you.. Let’s give one more secret; Even on the hottest day of Ayvalık, it is cool, as this place stays in the shade.
#6 Patriça Bay:
Patrica Bay of Cunda Island is one of the most ideal places for sandy and shallow sea lovers. Since there are different businesses in the bay, you can rent sunbeds and get food and beverage services.. If you are looking for quieter places, you can swim in the areas where there are no businesses.. Since it is at one end of Cunda Island, you have to go by car, the road takes about half an hour.. Don’t forget to ask the opinion of the people working at your accommodation before you go to Pateriça Bay; the sea may not be pleasant depending on the state of the wind. The native dominates the subject.. Among the businesses you can go to in Patriça Bay are Bıyıklı Beach, Mola Beach and Pateriça Zeytin Beach.
#7 Çataltepe Beach:
One of the beaches of Cunda Çataltepe is famous for its clear and clean sea.. Although it is usually a windy structure, it is always crowded as you can go by public transport.. Çataltepe Beach, which has a more economical operation compared to Ayvalık beaches, has a pebbly beach and sea.. If you don’t like walking on the pebbly sea, it would be good to take sea shoes with you.
#8 Sarimsakli Beach:We think that there is no one who has not heard of Sarimsakli beach, which is 5 km long.. You can remember this beach, which is always crowded because it has a long beach, from the photos used for the news in the main news and newspapers in the form of ‘holiday crowds on the beaches’.. Since the Garlic sea is extremely shallow, it is primarily preferred by families with children. It has a very ideal sea for people who are just learning to swim, as it goes shallow for a while and does not get deep all of a sudden.. Since the beach is sandy and spread over a very wide area, there is almost no problem of umbrella and sunbeds.. Let’s add that it is really crowded during public and public holidays.
CUNDA ISLAND BOAT TOUR
<
If you have enough time in Ayvalık and Cunda, you can spend a day on a boat tour from Cunda Island.. Boats are divided into two as private and multiple; If you are traveling as a large group, you can have a quieter tour by closing the boat specifically for your group.. In our opinion, Cunda Island boats work very organized in this regard.. Before you go, you can check all registered boats by looking at the Cunda Travel Boats website and reach their contact information.. Boat tours leave Cunda port at 10.00 and return to the port at 17.00 – 18.00.. The boat route is formed from the bays between Kara Ada and Pınar Ada according to the wind conditions.. The bays are truly legendary!
BEAUTIFUL BEACHES CLOSE TO AYVALIK
Ayvalık and If Cunda beaches are not enough, it’s time to open up to Ayvalık! Actually, we could write down a few beaches on the Balikesir side, but we definitely vote for Dikili!
#1 Dikili Pissa Beach:
Dikili boat tours off Pissa bay sine qua non. It has a white sand beach and a cyan shore. Free access to the beach; If you want to rent umbrellas and sunbeds or park a car, you have to pay.. The water of Pissa is very clear and not as cold as Ayvalık.. Weekdays are quieter.
#2 Dikili Killik Bay:
Killik Bay is accessible from both land and sea.. Killik Bay, located in the area where the ancient settlement known as Kanai in the past, took the form of a peninsula as a result of the waters flowing from Bademli Stream.. The white sand and shallow sea have a great influence on Killik Bay’s popularity with Dikili and tourists.. Another feature is that you can do natural peeling by applying the clays on the coast to your face or body. A business that we have been going to frequently for many years with its decent profile.. As soon as you enter, the olive trees surrounding you and the abundant green beach never leave you; There are both table areas, under-tree cushion areas and a sun lounger section.. Our favorite features are that it broadcasts music at normal volume, the sea is clean and does not get deep suddenly, and the food and beverage service is also very good.
Dikili beaches are very beautiful; but if you are looking for a better one, we recommend you to read our article below.
