Those living in Istanbul do not need to go on vacation to the Aegean and Mediterranean coasts in order to swim in the sea, sunbathe on the beach and enjoy the summer.. Places to swim in and beaches close to Istanbul are waiting for you at distances that you can reach in a couple of hours as if you were going to work.. In my article about these beaches, most of which are on the Black Sea coast, there are Kilyos beaches, Şile beaches, Büyükada beaches, Kınalıada Beaches, Heybeliada beaches, Burgazada Beaches, Cebeci, Kerpe and Kefken..
1 – KILYOS BEACHES
Kilyos, located where the European side of Istanbul opens to the Black Sea, is located at the weekend, due to its distance from Istanbul. It is one of the first destinations that comes to mind for Istanbulites who want to swim, especially those on the European side. When it comes to Kilyos beaches, which is the first of our list of places to swim close to Istanbul, the first ones that come to mind are Tırmata Beach, Babylon Kilyos, Uzunya Beach, Suma Beach becomes Owl Beach and Burc Beach.

2 – ŞİLE BEACHES
Kilyos’ in terms of transportation convenience for those living on the European side of Istanbul Just as Turkey prefers, those living on the Anatolian side prefer Şile beaches for the same reason.. Like Kilyos, the 2nd of our list of places to swim and beaches close to Istanbul attracts. When beaches in Şile are mentioned, Uzunkum Beach, Ayazma Beach, Ağlayankaya Beach and Kumbaba Beach come to mind first.

3 – BEACHES IN BÜYÜKADA
Third of our list of places to swim and beaches near Istanbul Those who live on the European side can reach Büyükada, which is one ferry distance from Istanbul, from Beşiktaş and Kabataş, while those on the Anatolian side can reach Büyükada by ferry departing from Bostancı or Kadıköy. Kinaliada, the smallest of the Prince Islands, also offers a gift to Istanbulites. offers beach and sea pleasure within a distance of the ferry. Kumluk Beach, Teos Boncuk Beach, Ülker Beach, Ayazma Kamos Beach and Iskele Beach in the center are at the top of the Kınalıada Beaches.

5 – BEACHES OF BURGAZADA
Burgazada, which is the choice of those who want to look at Istanbul from a quiet island and is named after Sait Fait Abasıyanık, is located between Heybeliada and Kınalıada.. Although some of the trees on the island covered with red pine forest were lost in a fire in 2003, it maintains its place as one of the most loved islands of Istanbul with its tranquility, pine forests, beautiful coast and wooden houses reflecting its history.. 7 – RIVA BEACHES
On the Asian side of Istanbul residents and on the European side 2. Riva Beach, which is the beach that can be reached as soon as possible for those living in the neighborhoods around the bridge, is located in the Riva district of Beykoz district, overlooking the Black Sea.. 8 – SARIYER ALTINKUM WOMEN’S BEACH

Altinkum Women’s Beach, located in Rumeli Kavağı in Sarıyer district of Istanbul, is completely reserved for women, not even a male fly can enter:) Everyone working at the beach, including the buffet staff and lifeguards, are all female. Since the beach is surrounded by tarpaulin, it is not visible from the outside.. In Sarıyer Altınkum Beach, both the beach and the inside of the sea are completely sandy.. The beach takes its name from this golden sand.. Free access to the beach with food and drink. The ladies bring the wraps and pastries and turn the atmosphere into a golden day:)

9 – FLORYA BEACHES
Florya Sun Beach, one of the oldest beaches in Istanbul and where Atatürk’s photographs were taken while swimming in the sea and its immediate vicinity Florya Menekşe Beach is the choice of Istanbulites living in Bakırköy Florya region on the European side. Both beaches are operated by Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality.

10 – CEBECİ BEACH
Chaunnels on the endless beach, arranged by Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality, Cebeci beach, where umbrellas, cabins and showers are located, is ideal for a daily or weekend sea vacation without going too far from Istanbul in summer.. The sea of Cebeci, the neighbor of Kerpe and Kefken, is very clean, the shores are sandy and shallow, and it is very suitable for children.. Since the blue flag beach is quite wide and long, it is possible for everyone to find an area where they can swim and sunbathe even during the holidays.

11 – KERPE AND KEFKEN BEACH
Istanbul’s Black Sea coast Şile, Ağva, Izmit, Kocaeli has Kerpe, Kefken. Getting to Kerpe and Kefken, which is the last of our Places to swim and beaches list close to Istanbul, is even easier than reaching Ağva.. You come to Kocaeli by using the TEM highway from Istanbul, after 50 km you arrive at Kerpe, a charming holiday resort with its back to pine forests with its deep blue sea, and encounter a magnificent nature.
