One of our favorite places in Istanbul, Kadıköy, one of our favorite districts is undoubtedly Moda.. Especially after the negative changes in Taksim, it was as if we all took shelter in Kadıköy on the opposite side.. With its streets adorned by old mansions, walls painted with colorful murals, and numerous newly opened restaurants and cafes, Moda has become the center of our meetings, moments when we want to be alone with ourselves, and of course, sometimes distractions.
In Moda plenty of space; When we say coffee shop, dessert shop, food place, breakfast place, we are left with many places where you will be surprised to go to which one on almost every street.. For those who are wondering where to go for breakfast in Moda, we wanted to list Kadıköy Moda’s Best Breakfast Places based on our own experiences.. Before We Begin: We had a larger list of breakfast places in Kadıköy Moda; However, we have eliminated some of them due to the pandemic conditions.. Yumma is located on the corner of a fashion street away from the crowds. One of our favorite places in Kadıköy with its fresh and natural options.. If you are looking for a diet-friendly and light menu especially for breakfast, you can come to Yumma without hesitation.. Its menu includes breakfast varieties, home-cooked meals such as noodles and meatballs, granola and beverages.. The beans of the coffee menu are from our favorite Coffee Department.. It is a very suitable place for the pandemic period, as there is enough seating and heaters outside.. The best part is; It also serves vegan and vegetarian breakfasts and meals!

Brekkie is definitely one of the two places we can recommend when it comes to the best croissants in Istanbul! Our favorite is definitely the plain croissant, but the menu has a lot of options like avocado, egg, cream and chocolate.. Two years ago, you could find a comfortable place to sit; but then its fame crossed the Anatolian side and the place grew too.. If you want to eat croissants without waiting in line nowadays; If you want to sit down, it would be a good idea to go early on weekdays or very early on weekends -even to the opening time-. There is both indoor and outdoor seating.

Another of our favorite places on the Anatolian side of course, Pattis. It is one of the cafes where you can have breakfast at any time of the day, taste everything fresh with farm and dairy products, and bring a new breath to the subject of breakfast.. In my opinion, having such a place in Kadıköy is also very important to increase the quality of the spaces.. They’ve recently started making super cool sandwiches and from time to time they prepare special weekend menus and offer different recipes.. In short, it is a wonderful cafe in Kadıköy where you can go without thinking about breakfast.

Naan Bakeshop is one of the most decent and delicious places you can go to have breakfast in Moda, with sourdough breads they bake themselves and are offered for sale at the venue.. Sourdough bread toasts, cool plates like Eggs Benedict and Eggs Florentine, baguettes and rustic sandwiches, their signature spread, egg varieties and burgers are the options you can find here.. There are also suitable alternatives for vegans and vegetarians, such as bowls, eggless omelets, burgers and salads.
