Volunteer Universal identifies the poorest villages of the region and implements projects in terms of both clean water and education.. Volunteers can also participate in these projects and help them work.. During my visit, 3 friends, 2 of whom are teachers, from Istanbul helped children in the poorest villages of Zanzibar for 1 week.. Thus, while exploring Zanzibar, I think that they returned to Turkey with the peace of doing a very sacred duty.. If you know how to look and see. The fact that the most luxurious market on the island does not have as many varieties as our village grocers makes one say how abundant we are..
